Request to waive NDA - email to Wasps, CCFC & Sisu

is this just going to be a word play where it is an indemnity but Wasps have had their thesaurus out to find a different word for the sake of the negotiations?

Can't remember if they're still "liable" for breaking fair play rules from their promotion season.

Request to waive NDA - email to Wasps, CCFC & Sisu

Pfft they were going to be the biggest club in Europe now they had the Ricoh. Reminded me of our own Richardson. Their management of the Ricoh and their rugby club to date wouldn't fill me with any confidence if they were involved in future CCFC ownership

That's a real worry when the 2.5m League 1 salary cap kicks in. Becomes a very attractive way of limiting costs whilst "building" a stadium.

500 Test wickets some achievement. A shame it's not in front of a packed house. What are the odds of it being the same batsman as Jimmy's 500th - nearly 3 years earlier!!

Possibly. But the statement gives an either / or scenario. New stadium self-explanatory but a Ricoh return option isn't.

Moving Forward - New Stadium Questions

Since the Council’s decision to sell the Ricoh to Wasps at what we believe to be a gross and unlawful undervalue, we have been determined either to overturn that decision by legal challenge (this is the only way back to the Ricoh on any sort of sustainable basis) . Probably a long shot but how...

Just ask them how they intend to convince supporters there's serious intent this time - this doesn't include pat answers like "club needs its own stadium" .

A realistic reporting schedule that progress can be measured against. Hide everything behind commercial confidentiality and many will think they're bullshitting again. And models won't count - people fell for that one last time.

Who the hell are these other parties signing NDAs? The F&B people? Council released a statement it was nothing to do with them as it was between landlord and tenant.

    Boddy Update

That's against Wasps though isn't it? If the EU decision goes against CCC then that's where the legal action would surely be aimed? Can't see anywhere CCFC would have a case directly against Wasps anyway. If CCC "undersold" the Ricoh then it's up to them to get the correct money back from...

They've got TV money to worry about as well. Plus they've taken the money up front from CVC who potentially get 27% of future TV income now. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/article-8259485/Premiership-Rugby-facing-huge-drop-value-TV-rights-coronavirus-crisis.html

    Paul Fletcher

But the decision to sell to Wasps was pretty much unanimous apparently. Tory council giving grief back in 2007 , Labour now. These people are semi-pro politicians - they'll tell what you want to hear to get elected and then do something different. Most recent elections had candidates saying...
