    Wasps downward spiral...

like a red rag to a bull. Welcoming back the football team to our stadium, pie in the sky rent figures as if they are entitled to capitalize on football team doing well to push themselves backinto the black

Pompey Trust sold to Americans about 3 years. They've pumped in a load of money. 2nd biggest wage budget in division. Wycombe another club where fan trust sold their control to americans

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

serious conversations about a 15-20m cap but with the extended season etc. unlikely to be in for next season. But it's coming you've got Championship clubs with huge debt levels but also wage bills in excess of 80% of income ( couple over 100%) for all the talk of FFP etc.Average wages...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

    1. Operation Vengeance sounds like something a playground gang would come up with. 2. Don't criticize other clubs not wanting to play for financial reasons if you're about to furlough your own staff when you have nothing left to play for.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Barnsley proposal shouldn't pass as you can get to 38/39 games and teams could be already mathematically down. Or season falls a game short but everything is mathematically sorted

It's not about an ability to deliver messages all the time. In this specific case it's about delivering definite, enforced rules, not advisable guidelines. Advisable guidelines don't work - eg pictures of the beaches etc. last few weeks, unclear fining systems and so on. Nearly every other...

It's still a Govt that was going on about being able to take strong, decisive measures on areas like Brexit and other policy areas but has failed at the 1st hurdle with COVID. If you base your leadership on advising rather than insisting/forcing the necessary steps on dealing with this...

What is the relevance of June 15th as a date for all these UK measures atm? See public transport etc. masks compulsory from June 15th. why not from today or even better from the beginning? One of the 1st measures here was masks for public transport and no overcrowding either.

It's Johnson's Libertarian approach that has caused so much of this. It's been mixed messages and a lack of will to take a strong hand. People aren't going to be arguing with firm regulation when the backdrop of deaths is there for all to see. Trying to imitate other countries exits from...

Govt say may be a further easing of travel restrictions from June 16th - but UK a separate case to rest of Europe with the current mortality levels. Govt here expecting UK to spike due to public not following protocols (beach pictures etc. all over the media here). Will keep you informed. Got a...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

seems the way they are scheduling fixtures over so many days for TV means that (if there was a 2nd spike) chances are all teams wouldn't finish on same number of games played anyway.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

    1. Don't see us coming back for 1 game to sort out PPG issues. Prohibitive costs for a one-off game. 2. Don't see no relegation from PL as well as adding 3 clubs from Championship. Already too many fixtures for those involved in Europe etc. But probably more importantly is the financials...
