Wonder how this sits with Cov Building Society. Financially, publicity wise etc etc.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Are the interested parties interested in The stadium (if so, surely it will be for the Football club. which could be run along with the stadium as a going concern. At best they would have Wasps as a tenant paying rent, Buying the football club would make sense, as thy would be guaranteed that...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Roger sneers down at football fans, yet fails to give God a capital G, whilst also missing the apostrophe for good measure. Must try harder.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Makes you wonder if the 'bit' that has gone into admin is a bit that has bugger all assets, but has all the liabilities and so the other bits of the group have most of the assets, whilst wiping their hands of any responsibility to their creditors. Start off again owing nothing, then set off...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Probably a daft question, but can Wasps try and shaft every other creditor (bondholders included) yet continue to stump up the leasehold payments to the Council to maintain a grip on the stadium?

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

If the bondholders want to get the most for the CBS, will it be a case of who coughs up the cost out of Wasps (Mark 2) if that is even allowed, and e.g. SISU? How does this tie in with Cov City Council's ownership of it? Let's hope it's a positive/turning point for the football club.

    Wasps downward spiral...

Small extract from the match report last night He strikes the ball with an audible thwack that was very noticeable in a near-empty CBS Arena.

I don't see why some people are struggling to understand @Nick 's point re: cashflow. We could have sold 25,000 season tickets and we'd still be struggling in the here and now. Cash isn't released until we play home games, and we'll reached October (when the season started in July) and only...

Think the 'whoring' bit is unnecessary. Replace Boddy with Fisher, and Fisher saying we've got to sell someone as we're not a going concern at this level. What's the difference between that and what you are accusing Boddy of? SISU are our owners, so whether they are out of their depth or not is...

Agreed. I was a Business Manager at an establishment, and staff would often vent their spleen at me over issues, sometimes reasonably, yet I knew that the Head wouldn't shift their position on the matter. I'm sure I was often viewed as Dave Boddy often is in terms of being a chocolate tea pot.

I think it's more that we've accepted that we can't affect anything (above supporting the team/club), rather than accepting that things can't change. We have an almost inextricable link to the fate of Wasps (assuming we accept the non new stadium), The recent climb up the divisions has helped...
