I'm Ready To Take Charge - Thorn

No, liked Dowie, and Adams, both quite badly treated I thought. No time for Coleman at all, ambivalent on Boothroyd, though his style of football and the Marlon King thing very black marks, and Thorn just not a manager. Blindly supporting people without any supporting evidence(or despite...

I'm Ready To Take Charge - Thorn

Would have been embarassing if there had been any posts from myself, Kduffy, or Sickboy supporting the appointment. Phew!!

This Forum can decide the next City Manager...

Wasn't Thorn the "fans choice"? And Adams? Don't care who decides the next manager, as long as it's not Ranson.

Official Club Statement on AT's Sacking

You're right there, Dann and Fox weren't brought in by Thorn. Rather the panic button early on, than keeping a finger pressed hard on the complacency button.

Adieu, Adieu, Parting is such sweet sorrow

Never have expected good out of Sisu nor any of their previous boards, they've always failed to meet even that. Maybe get it right for once. Which would be one more time than you've ever been right anyway Ginetta.

How was Thorn at fault today?

Were more inept in giving him the job and keeping him in it well past the time he should have been gone. Maybe they're learning, Thorn didn't.

Adieu, Adieu, Parting is such sweet sorrow

At least the "football man" Ranson won't be appointing the manager this time, so more chance of getting somebody decent.

    james mckpake tweet

He wasn't a particularly good defender when fit, which wasn't often. Whilst never thought that Thorn was a particularly good manager, and, though belated, the right decision has been made to sack him, wouldn't use any "tweets" from McPake as a weapon to beat him around the head with.

How was Thorn at fault today?

So you agree that it isn't the players who take praise or blame for any of the game then? Makes your previous thread( unfortunately not Thorn), redundant then.
