How was Thorn at fault today?

Thought it was obvious, Thorn the manager for the whole game, so credit for first half, debit for second. Not apportioning praise or blame to different people/ groups to make a stance appear better.

    Thorn sacked tonight

As I've said before, the only times we haven't opened the revolving door everybody gets so excited about on an underperforming manager, we've got relegated .

How was Thorn at fault today?

Earlier you started a thread stating the players were at fault for the second half. Is Thorn only responsible for good periods and the players for anything bad? Surely overall responsibility(good or bad) lies with the manager?

    Bury Matchday Thread

No you didn't, you made that judgement with less than a third of the season gone. Whilst I didn't agree with your reasoning that only player budgets can be used to judge a manager, you have consistently made the point that it makes all the difference. In which case we should have beaten Bury...

    Bury Matchday Thread

We're 59 League games into Thorns reign. We have a much better wage budget than Yeovil and Bury and therefore should have beaten them according to the only criteria you used to judge the manager last season.

    Praise to Thorn

Think those who are objective would be put into the anti-Thorn camp. Nothing is based on emotion or "hope", merely on what has happened, and likely to happen by extrapolation from before. You do like a bit of hyperbole though, so fill your boots.

    Praise to Thorn

They've just won their first two games, so probably reasonably chuffed. He also had to put up with the Mackay "project" last season which some were advocating for us last season(Though of course would have had the problem with "gelling" then, which is the buzz-word of the moment on here).

If i was geting paid about 10 times what he was getting I wouldn't give a toss what he said.

There are, lack of resources, back-room support etc. Though don't know why somebody can't be a poor manager also.

    Praise to Thorn

True that, but they keep supporting him anyway.
