    "Worst Stadium in the Country"

So his criticism is that there is a lack of atmosphere.......... that makes it the worst stadium on the continent does it? No I wonder why the fans (a) dont turn up in numbers (b) dont get excited too often ............ wouldnt have anything to do with the problems and lack of...

CT Thorn We've got to sort it out , big changes are needed

The difference (simplified cos things are rarely so simple ) Balance sheet (money as loan) Assets 5m liabilities including loans (18m) total 20m net liabilities 15m represented by Shares 1m Reserves - 16m shares have no value or if money in by shares for same company Assets 5m...

CT Thorn We've got to sort it out , big changes are needed

I think AT is absolutely right but then again a lot of us were saying over a year ago big changes were needed through out the club. Yes I understand he might not have been able to say before but I am still tempted to say "no shit sherlock" No I am not having a go at AT, but it is about time...

It could have been different ?

You know what the whole thread was not a statement that it was clear evidence that the team under performed. The whole musing was that the measures between success and failure (staying up or relegation in this case) are and were actually quite small. It is all ifs buts and maybes and I made that...

It could have been different ?

so in achieving the worst away record in the top 10 english divisions and being 2 wins behind the next worst in the division but doing significantly better at home we have performed to our abilities home and away then ? or have we surpassed ourselves ? Were we capable of beating other teams...

It could have been different ?

Seem to remember a lot of forest fans saying that is what would happen He has played well the last few games but I am still left with the impression overall this season he hasnt done that often enough.

    The Hoff

Hoff hasnt done anything yet and he might never achieve his aim. I would have thought with all the talk going round of the club hitting the buffers any investor would wait and see because the likelihood is that it will cost a lot less to acquire (thats settle creditors not buy btw). Thing is if...

    Martin Cranie

I like Crainie and when playing well he reads the game well. I do think over the last 10 or so games he has had a dip in form and made some mistakes but that happens to any player. I do not think he will stay, surely can be better paid elsewhere and I cant blame him for maximising his income -...

It could have been different ?

three games that have been crucial to our season Forest away, Bristol away, Millwall home get anything at all from all those and we would have had a chance. Lose to Hull but beat Bristol and winning only one away from home wouldnt have hurt so much. Fine lines. Seems every time we had an...

It could have been different ?

I dont really buy into the bad luck theory because all teams can point to it and say they have had bad luck at some point. This is also not a finger pointing at AT or SISU - thats covered elsewhere. But there are little things that add up over a season that with just a little application...

    sheffers

thanks guys - something else that adds to the reasons we didnt get enough points. In amongst the big reasons there are lots of smaller things we could have done better. 9 penalties is quite a few though - I think there have been seasons where we have only got a couple in the past.

    sheffers

Just out of interest - how many penalties have we had this season? - how many have we missed? - and assuming the miss to be the only change to the final score how many points has it cost us?
  13. oldskyblue58

    sheffers

likely to be a bad reaction to the miss from some but he isnt the reason we are getting relegated this season and he certainly didnt mean to miss it. Hasnt had a great season but he does not deserve that abuse, its out of order as CC4L says it will blow over

    Thoughts on SISU

But thats where i think the problems came Godiva. In the first year there were significant expenditure that was outside the budget expected and things started to slide at that point. I seem to remember RR commenting on it when trying to explain where the money invested had gone, said things were...

    SISU Going BUST !!!!!!!!!

SISU Investors have four options and always have - get investor - sell to someone - admin or liquidation - carry on the appoint SISU Capital as their agents to make the decision which. SISU Capital charge their clients a fee for the priviledge

    SISU Going BUST !!!!!!!!!

Think you will find that Mr Keys has read an article on Covmad or wherever they got it from and repeated the comments there. There is nothing in SISU accounts that indicates they are in imminent danger of going bust especially when despite losses they have £750K in the bank. Only thing...

    Thoughts on SISU

There is always a way Godiva. To get their own way at directors meetings (which is what we are talking about) then appoint more directors. They owned 75% + of the company in terms of shares thats effectively full control under the Companies Acts. They may have had to pay him out yes, but even...
