    Thoughts on SISU

Godiva. I take it we agree that they didnt understand the business that they were investing millions in then ? We agree that they had a man on all the Boards from day 1 and that the board of directors would get monthly financial figures presented to them ? We agree that the only source of funds...

player of the season & awards dinner

Think Keogh will get it but I think Clive Platt is worth some recognition too - worked hard, taken the knocks, played decently, given all he has and talked well when interviewed

    Thoughts on SISU

Agree with nearly all that Tommy - only thing I would alter is that cost cutting was ONE of the right things to have done. It is not necessarily the right thing to do if done in isolation or as a knee jerk reaction it can be harmful to a business. I think what is being driven at by other posters...

    Cody mac

Thought he did well last night, got a bit frustrated when McSheffery started running into the same space as him in the late 2nd half

    Thoughts on SISU

All the woes at CCFC are not due to SISU - but they are because they make the major financial decisions a major contributor. I am inclined to agree with the points put forward by Astute and DTD regarding SISU's contribution to our fate. From day 1 I think they failed to plan and control the...

    SISU disgrace

Thought you meant financial loans - but agree with you on that CCFC dont hold money in the Caymans - the status of the investors might be under enquiry but thats not a club problem thats for SISU and its clients. As for sconset being taxed on the value of its investment in CCFC then unlikely...

    SISU disgrace

Also over the last 10 seasons the blip in attendance isnt the fall .... it is the fact we got 21301 and 20342 in 2005/06 and 2006/7 respectively Our average crowd over the last 10 years is 17263, even including the high blips. Doesnt that say that the depth of hardcore support really isnt...

    SISU disgrace

The crux of the matter though isnt how many people we got in the ground though is it...... its how much money did we get out of the people in the ground & from other sources. Yes there is a correlation between crowd size and income but between 2007/08 and 2009/10 income remained at very similar...

    SISU disgrace

On the figures published CCFC Ltd Turnover May 2008 = £9.2m compared to Turnover May 2010 £9.3m (excluding any player sales). I would expect 2011 and 2012 income to have decreased from that but we do not know what those figures are yet. Just to be clear I do not excuse or apologise for SISU...

    SISU disgrace

From the football league site our average attendance over the last 4 years has dropped from 17407 to 15173 currently. Thats a fall of 13% Of the teams that have only been in the Championship in that period then on average the fall has been 8%. The biggest fall being Doncaster and Barnsley at...

Anyone else NOT nervous about tonight?

Not nervous no. Kind of just want it over and done one way or another to be honest. Have all but had my fill of the mess called CCFC for now. I think this has been one of the toughest ever seasons to be a Sky Blue fan. Together with the young lads who have played their hearts out for the team...

we will have gained the record for the - least number of wins away from home in the top 10 divisions in England 2011/12 season (jointly with Blythe Spartans (Conference North) - the least number of points away from home in the top 10 divisions (thats all the way down to the Isthmian...
