    Sky Blue Hope

although can be seen as positive, it is surely a reflection of how desperate we have become for some good news. There is nothing there of any real substance imo.

isnt it time to support SISU?

would certainly consider it - but dont want it This is not about choosing to fight SISU this is the moral support of OUR club that has once more been shafted by its owners. There did not need to be £40m loaned to the company ...... only reason there has been is because SISU have had to fund the...

As we haven't paid the rent

Crowsnest - The comment from another poster was directed at the income from concerts etc but yes I should have been more specific Where do you think the money from tescos went though ? Considering the stadium build costs were north of £100m Only one reason CCFC didnt get a split of the...

    What would you do

only thing i would consider funding or backing would be the academy to ensure it kept its status and gives us a future. But it would need to be securely ring fenced from the rest of the financial swamp at CCFC.

    Administration!!

Part of the reason there is the ARVO charge CJP ...... they can liquidate CCFC and retain the assets which can then be sold off. They have seperated the assets from the liabilities should the worst happen No point to administration..... SISU are pretty well running it as an administration...

As we haven't paid the rent

errrr the council havent made a penny from it ........... ACL operates it and neither the Council or Charity have taken a penny from ACL and do not intend to for the foreseeable future No point sending the bailiffs in because all the assets are charged to ARVO so cannot be removed ....... which...

    4000 Season Tickets - Really????

well until 30/06/12 we are still paying Eastwood etc ........ and as Marty says there are more than players to pay. So £5m is not unrealistic

    4000 Season Tickets - Really????

Because asset stripping implies that the value leaves the business .......... it doesnt at CCFC it goes to pay the bills..... the biggest bill of which is the players wages ie the team. Given that there are no outside funds to come in other than SISU/ARVO picking up a cashflow shortfall then the...

    4000 Season Tickets - Really????

Definition of 'Asset Stripping' The process of buying an undervalued company with the intent to sell off its assets for a profit. The individual assets of the company, such as its equipment and property, may be more valuable than the company as a whole due to such factors as poor management or...

    4000 Season Tickets - Really????

I assume we accept that costs of running the team are at least something like wages £5m, other costs £3m per annum that's £660k pm ...... all of which doesn't greatly vary from month to month. But income does vary from month to month. May June July the only income would appear to season ticket...

Platt on why he left and next season

I think it was an intelligent respectful and honest article. The last few paragraphs are particularly interesting because it isn't coming from a player with an axe to grind, it is coming from someone who gave his all and was fully engaged in the team. Totally understand & respect his reasoning...
