    Telegraph Investigation into ARVO

That Otis comes across as "go away little man you are not important its our story now ................" clearly ct journalists are neither to be believed or trusted ........ just another facet of this whole sorry affair that has failed in its duty to the fans

    Telegraph Investigation into ARVO

Name on the article is Les Reid not Turner though BSB - would seem the SISU set of values are rubbing off on the CT reporters or was it always the case ?

    Telegraph Investigation into ARVO

such a great piece of investigation that they cant even get the name right  its ARVO not AVRO Am annoyed they and CWR this morning claim it as their own investigation when the information was on here 4 weeks ago and when asked about it the CT chose to gloss over. We even emailed...

    Thorn should resign now

I will be kind and say that at the time he said it he was somewhat mistaken :thinking about:

    Thorn should resign now

AT will be here this coming season ........ end of AT isn't going to get the players he really wants or even the ones he thinks he can. I suspect there is a very big black hole in the finances/budget based on an average League 1 team let alone one that challenges. TF and co are going to keep a...

    Coventry Telegraph reads SBT

Well at least they are starting to look at different places to get some facts - about time too!!! They might learn a thing or two because there are some very good contributors to this site Blind acceptance of targeted spin is not investigative journalism ........... to my mind it is no more...

    A message to Thorn Haters...

AT is who we have rightly or wrongly. He has the "tools" he has and there are other managers financially handicapped. Bet there isnt one manager who would say he has all the tools he needs but that shouldnt disguise or excuse the lack of numbers & quality in our squad. I do wish we would get...

    Higgs Charity,CCFC/Sisu, City Council.

Thanks for the update PWKH. I think that should explain to everyone where the process is right now particularly from the Charity's point of view. I also hope people round here take note that Hoffman is not involved in any way in the process cheers OSB

SISU will own 100% of the Arena...

i agree ......... was just pointing out that the power of veto is a normal part of a private limited company memorandum & articles (rules)

SISU will own 100% of the Arena...

It isnt a golden share such...... its the same for any private company any new shareholders have to be approved by the remaining shareholders (that would include a shareholder selling his stake on the new owner would need approval from remaining shareholders)
  13. oldskyblue58

SISU will own 100% of the Arena...

Not sure the council can be seen to be owning part of the club but ACL could. But that only gives shareholder rights. Perhaps it should be a seat on the Board at CCFC for someone from ACL/Council that would be more day to day. (still issues of potential conflict of interest though) Big thing is...

SISU will own 100% of the Arena...

cant answer that Astute other than past history indicates that maybe the toughest part of it all !:thinking about:

SISU will own 100% of the Arena...

Just wonder if in these circumstances the due diligence is a two way thing. It is usually the buyer verifying what they are buying. However in these circumstances surely you would want to know the buyer is properly funded especially if payment was over say a couple of years. Perhaps a bi-product...

SISU will own 100% of the Arena...

its 49 years 362 days and the council own the freehold. so about 43 years left. acl paid premium of 21m for it
  17. oldskyblue58

SISU will own 100% of the Arena...

Say SISU get their hands on the Charity shares there still remain a couple of problems currently restricting any access to income 1) the council still own 50% of the shares and can as it stands veto things 2) it is 50% not 51% so it isnt control of ACl so results can not be consolidated into...

SISU will own 100% of the Arena...

ACL own a lease on the stadium they dont own the freehold.
  19. oldskyblue58

    SISU buy out is close?

thats all that the charity has to sell BSB the shares in ACL. It is not the same as buying any part of the freehold
  20. oldskyblue58

SISU will own 100% of the Arena...

isnt it they are buying 50% of ACL not the stadium ? because that is ll that the charity has to sell
