A guess at the budget figures this season

think these figures prove one thing above all else, and it isnt anything to do with the rent ...... success on the pitch is absolutely vital this season .... we are not far off saying promotion is essential for the club to survive. No pressure there then for AT and the players !

A guess at the budget figures this season

ah but will they pay it ....... or claim it is too expensive for a club in League 1 LS

A guess at the budget figures this season

Looking at the budget for wages, the number of players and the cap at 65% I wonder how much room is left to be able to pay for Jennings or any more players without other players leaving ?

A guess at the budget figures this season

Was asked by skyblueman to take a stab at where we were going forward. So here is my guess at the budgets going forward. I am not going to exclude things like interest to ARVO etc because those costs are relevant to viability and a legal debt. Player sales will be budgeted for by TF Turnover...

    Codys Agent

apparently the agents costs were split as follows City paid £148,200 from 1st July 2011 to June 30th 2012 in fees to agents. This covered a total of 26 transactions with 14 new registrations, eight updated contracts, one cancelled contract and three loans...

    Rent

Is it a simple rent though............. or is it payment for all the staffed facilities. Compass supply the staff for bars etc to ACL and then ACL supply a staffed facility (excluding stewards i believe) to CCFC. In which case is the true property rent actually £1.2m or something less, and any...

    Rent

my guess is that we are still looking at at least a 2 million loss ...... yes we have saved on wages but not the rent (as yet) but there have been other costs added ...... Waggott , interest to ARVO, legal costs, redundancy costs, agents costs etc will give it some proper thought later :)

    Rent

Think you will find that with all the success at Man City they have fixed the charge for ground usage at £3m per year. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-city/8257210/How-Manchester-City-won-the-stadium-lottery.html Walsall pay £427k apparently...

    Rent

well they could try LS but somehow i dont think they could prove it :) but then again no paperwork at CCFC appears to be transparent in its detail so it might work !

    Rent

I think you would find the charge is set at £1.2m for CCFC usage but they are allowed to pay it over 12 months.... but am guessing

    Rent

    fair point skyblueman

    Rent

i believe so .... guy called John Street .... joined in 2011 and not sure that is to ACL advantage really..... there has been a lot of changes etc since he left CCFC
  13. oldskyblue58

    Rent

think it is wrong to assume that there is no similar expertise on the side of ACL etc. They will bring people in to deal with this they wont deal with it themselves

    Rent

Have seen nothing to say we didnt ......... it is still the same lease that CCFC originally signed when moving in to the stadium. The only thing that goes through my mind is a recollection that the club couldnt pay its rent before in 2006 or 2007 and that the rent was reduced for a period...

    Rent

could argue that the only positive press that the Ricoh gets is from anything but the football club LS. Certainly the Ricoh doesnt get things like the Olympics, the Rugby World Cup, the various pop concerts, the exhibition or event income, the hotel or casino because of CCFC being there. Ricoh...

    Rent

Bottom line is that for the good of both businesses (CCFC & ACL) this matter needs to be resolved sooner rather than later. Both businesses cannot plan properly at the moment, one doesn't know its income the other doesn't know its costs. There is room, I believe, for a compromise that will suit...

    Rent

Dont have 2011 accounts with me but 2009 Turnover 8.895m Wages 10.503m 2010 Turnover 9.291m Wages 10.314m hardly what i call matching costs to income to get a viable business 2011 were not greatly better 2012 might match we dont know 2013 who knows
  18. oldskyblue58

    Rent

why ? doesnt matter ...... no ccfc owner has actually tackled the problem and matched wages to income to get a viable business..... been a long line of crap owners

    Rent

there has to be a deal on the rent .............. but any good deal is a win win for all parties concerned.......... have posted figures before on what i think are reasonable figures and how it could be done to suit both sides............ you have to ask why SISU & CCFC are not making any...

    Rent

Actually we did ..... but the figures were not so large ......... any club paying 110% of turnover out on wages is certainly living beyond its means ............ and we did
