    Rent

Agree with most of it ...... but they are paying for their period of usage - including use of offices, shop and bars etc........ not for exclusive use all year

    Rent

ACL and its owners could lose out if the court case went to the end game ............ but would it be possible establish a CCFC new co that plays at the Ricoh with new owners - perhaps. Not a great prospect but going to the end game might only mean relatively short term hardship for ACL. Would...

    Rent

NO SISU were in talks about buying the Charity shares in ACL ..... not half the stadium ...... and the period of due diligence is now passed with no agreement reached as far as we are aware I think my rent is too high too doesnt mean my landlord has to reduce it. The lease is with ACL not the...

    Rent

The case is to enforce the terms of the contract Grendel ...... it isnt for the court to force a solution. ACL have to prove it is a valid debt ...... CCFC have to prove it isnt.... the court will decide if it is or isnt. When you go to court it is on specific issues not a wide ranging review of...

    Rent

Contract law gives protection if it can be proven that the contract was unfair at the time it was signed . It does not provide protection just because the tenant cannot operate its business successfully 6 years later. ACL, Council, Charity have all said they are willing to talk and to look at...

    Who's our Talisman?

Personally I think a "talisman" has nothing to do with leadership. Its a player that makes you feel you have a chance makes you feel lucky. You would say that Abdel Taarabt was a talisman for QPR for example but he certainly was not a leader. McSheffery has been touted as a talisman since his...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

got to agree with you that just seems wrong for the council to do that

    Portsmouth- what on earth

50:50 at the moment but i would expect so. If there was no prospect then they would have already pulled the plug. Personally i think with their financial track record they should have been out of business a long time ago..... in any other business they would have been. Have some sympathy for...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

I find it strange that Ben Haim is being put forward as the reason why Pompey may be liquidated whilst the people who actually made decisions and ran the club are well in the background. The fact that he has offered to write off £1.5m shows he is willing to help, it isnt insignificant, but...

I see AT looked after himself during the summer

only thing i would say is that i saw the picture and thought he didnt look well and comfortable at that weight and that raised a concern about his ability to deal with the inevitable stress levels that are to come ....... he had a period in hospital last season and i wouldnt wish him ill again

Thorn: No go for Bruno, Another trialist today and hopefully Barton

Difference of opinion MMM - i can go with you seeing it differently :) . I do think there is a difference though between AT through his contacts / own knowledge finding a player and his manager telling him to go check someone out based on a recommendation already made to the manager. Not...

Thorn: No go for Bruno, Another trialist today and hopefully Barton

AT appointed April 2008 so it would seem that we can credit AT with Westwood and all since (?)....... but not Fox or Dann (jan 2008) and that Gunnarsson was down to a recommendation by Helguson (not ATdespite being signed in June 2008). That said all managers make good and bad signings...

    Accrington Away

cheers woody :) ................ i also think the speed and movement of the team will be key together with the passing. I really do not think if we pass it around our box like last season we will achieve much, we have to be much more progressive and put real pressure on other teams.

    Accrington Away

so am i right in thinking that we played the diamond whilst Brown was on then it became 4 4 2............ well that was the details i thought i heard on CWR. Or did it switch back to the diamond for most of the game Said before I am not bothered about the results of friendlies but what was the...

    Adam Barton

not sure that is opposite CJP ...... surely the fact that the midfielders are so interchangeable proves how similar they are and how we lack variation. None really put their stamp on a position. We seem to be basing the squad on players being interchangeable ..... jacks of all trades masters of...

    Adam Barton

just a thought but do all the players in the squad being built seem similar and a bit one dimensional, especially in midfield and up front. It is almost as if we cant risk something different. We are missing a spark somehow, still no leader in my opinion either.
