Could Coventry be shut out of Ricoh?

not knocking reporting it rich.... the more things are out in the open the better......... just giving further info as per companies act and shares etc.......... there may be something going on but i suspect the delay is more from sisu's side than anywhere else

Could Coventry be shut out of Ricoh?

the deal with the charity is for the shares in acl not half the stadium. acl is a private company and as such any new shareholders would need council approval anyway .............. sisu cant just sell the shares on to anyone they choose..... so it isnt necessary to get reassurances. Also the...

Could Coventry be shut out of Ricoh?

think it is everyones interest to keep it open ............ at some point ccfc have to come up with constructive proposals as to the rent ........ simply not paying it wont do ........... whilst they they dont pay anything then acl are within their rights to change the locks or look for...

Could Coventry be shut out of Ricoh?

nope ....... there is a joint venture with compass (who have paid for the right to operate the outlets bars etc) ...... ACL receive a share of the profits on the contract after all expenses paid out

    Observations from Saturday

wasnt my suggestion Paxman i was responding to the view expressed by the OP :) . Clingan can be a decent player but just isnt a decent captain imo. Not sure if there are splits in the camp but i would think there is a fair bit of pressure and stress

    Observations from Saturday

Not saying he could DiveDive but if as an individual player you only receive angry messages from the manager and coach would that inspire most people to do better .......... am only going on what the OP said about lots of such shouting at yeovil...... bottom line is though if it isn't working...

    Observations from Saturday

Dont think anyone is saying dont shout at the player, we all know it goes on in sport and accept it .......... but make it constructive. If the coaching staff have to resort to prolonged angry shouting in the first match of the season to get the message across after 7 weeks of pre season, then...

    Observations from Saturday

I agree Sky Blues ....... there are better way than continual angry shouting. Knowing how players react to things is very important. Was applying my thoughts to any coach not just AT RS or LC

    Observations from Saturday

Got no problem with shouting directions to players......... if however it is constant at a particular player through out a game then that seems to me to imply either the player is in the wrong position, not up to the job or that the coaches or managers message/plan has not been clearly expressed...

    Phone In

but linell ignored the point Nick and turned it into how long do you give AT...... Complains about fans judging him too soon then keeps coming back to it ...... just likes the sound of his own voice Neil's points are about the team and tactics not should AT go

Only 7,500 expected for Sheff Utd!?

Take a look at the average attendances in League 1 last year....... there are 5 clubs with averages above 10K (Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Charlton, Huddersfield Preson) the 6th place was MK Dons at 8659 ........ if we get crowds over 10K on average we will be doing pretty well in this division...

Remove the seats in the ricoh!

erm we dont actually own the stadium, so it isnt the clubs decision .......... also as the stadium is multipurpose then it is unlikely to happen .......... but i like the idea but not unless we have bigger crowds, otherwise we would just create more spaces around a 2/3rds empty stadium .

Remove the seats in the ricoh!

now thats a radical idea :) ......... would be good if it caught on :)

    Portsmouth- what on earth

the points deduction has not been wiped off ......... it is still there ......... will be deducted if and when Pompey come out of administration. If they dont get out of administration then that will be liquidation "The club will start on zero points, with the conditions of membership...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

Is it me or does anyone else think that Mr Chanrai protests too much. He seems to have thrown everything into the statement to justify his position. But the timing of it makes me wonder. I believe that tomorrow Pompey have to prove to the FL they can complete the season there is no time for...

    Bonuses - another perspective

I guess some key questions 1) what are each of the players on for a basic salary? 2) what was the salary bill last year? 3) what bonus is budgeted for this year..... quite telling really if it is less than last year then we are aiming to hold our own .... if it is around £1m we are aiming for...

    Bonuses - another perspective

you know what really staggers me .......... the fact that it has taken so damn long for the owners and directors of CCFC to figure out that wages and bonuses at the club are a major problem (if not the major problem) ....... and even longer to take any action on it.

    Coventry avoid squad crisis....

Personally I think the bonus system was flawed in that it rewarded failure at worst mediocrity at best. It needed dealing with. Have been saying for years that the owners needed to deal with the issue of wages and I am not going to start back tracking on that. This can be seen as a harsh and...
