last year at HR ...... there were a lot of farewell events etc .......... but it is still one hell of a jump. Perhaps the question should be why were the two years previous so low Nick?

    Published Income details

Begs the question if the club do not have the income streams available what have the commercial team to sell so that the income increases and they able to be brilliant WS ? Doubt the increase is down to prize money and TV fees, and it would be a lot of shirts Not good news about your...

If SISU do put ACL out of business

Seems £100k has never been a likely rent for a ground for CCFC to play in ? McG clearly had all the facts from both sides in that case ....... surely he messed up in not putting a contingency in the lease in case things didnt work out, or better still could have agreed something like a lease...

If SISU do put ACL out of business

As you/they say business is business paxman ......... have no issue at all with the concept just dont like SISU's brand of it.

If SISU do put ACL out of business

Wow that put me in my place  ............ me being a ccfc fan and all, belittling myself and everyone else at the same time. Jumping to hugely illogical conclusions based on nothing - I do it all the time I never mention any published facts !. Of course there were little clues in...

If SISU do put ACL out of business

In CCFC accounts 2002 it lists operating leases payable for land and buildings in 2003 at £308k - i assume that was the rent then for HR after they sold the ground ?.

If SISU do put ACL out of business

The directors have to act in the best interests of the company I think there might be an 11th hour negotiation ..... or should be if SISU have any sense. ACL can't blink though BUT the clock is running and options are running out .......... very twitchy times could be ahead.

If SISU do put ACL out of business

I think the whole issue is divisive wingy. There are, if you like, sides being taken about the off field stuff. Only time we look to be travelling generally in one direction is when we are supporting MR and the team. Even then opinions differ. It puzzles me that so many business people buy...

If SISU do put ACL out of business

but then you have to ask is the "committee" doing so badly if it has attracted, Springsteen, Muse, Take That, Coldplay, Bon Jov, Pink, Olympics, Rugby World Cup, England u21s, Heineken cup ...... and thats just some of the events in the stadium ...... there is of course the exhibitions...

A stirring and superb article by Jonathan Strange on ccfc - We must mow our own grass

I agree with the sentiment that all parties should sort this out sooner than later. They need to talk and find agreement that everyone can live with. Got to say the argument regarding finances is flawed and have explained why often enough. ACL etc have said CCFC are paying something but the...

City could be wound up by ACL

nice to see the councillor doesnt think the ACL should wash away in the rain ......... think he means insolvent:whistle: * edit i take that back because he actually said insolvent Covmad got it wrong * But to be honest he should not be making statements on this unless sanctioned by the ACL...

    City can't affor mcgoldrick's wages

just to put another spanner in the works ............ if you are subject to say administration or a winding up order what is it that you are automatically under ? ........ embargo. Is that likely well ? certainly increasingly seems that way :thinking about: Finding a suitable wage or shipping...

PWKH Any news you can give us>

I think there is a lot of truth in what you say Diehard Si. Our problems come from selling off the ground we owned for one that wasnt even off the drawing board. It was ill thought out and ill conceived and you cannot blame any of the current participants for that. However SISU drove a...

    next two matches

No like i say not taking Morecambe lightly, certainly wont be easy and home form isnt great. They are going well, and have a decent recent cup record. But we still ought to be thinking we can win it. Hope its a good game but I still think we should edge it. Could try the Longford Engine on...

    next two matches

Ok as someone who spends a lot of time focussed on the finances I think i will try and change the suject ....... talk about the real interest we all have in CCFC....... FOOTBALL What do we think are the prospects for the next two games both of which are cup games. Morecambe - as always with...

PWKH Any news you can give us>

if you want to read what Geoffrey said it is here......... largely irrelevant to be honest and little insulting. Clearly doesnt understand a lot of what is going on judging by his comments that the charity should get out at whatever price they can get :facepalm...

Fisher and the myth of matchday revenues

if the object of the exercise is to sell it on at a huge profit I would suggest that ACL do that themselves and that way the money comes back to the people of coventry rather than faceless investors. I think what most people object to is SISU forcing the price down artificially and then...

Fisher and the myth of matchday revenues

Just to speculate a little .......... i wonder what the various directors and others are on ........ Ray Ranson was on the best part of £300k, what would we guess at messers Fisher, Waggott, Clarke & Labovitch are on ....... £500k split between them ? btw those wages do not get included in the...
