yes it does need to be affordable ........... 400k , thats under £16k a game for the hire of the pitch, stands, corporate areas, boxes, shop, boardroom etc ............. average crowds say 10k at average £15 per ticket £150k plus all other income (excluding the kiosks) Seems reasonable and...

and if ACL say offered the rent at £400k would that be reasonable ? It isnt a Legaue1 stadium and you would hope the income potential of CCFC isnt League 1 either. So lets not get bogged down in League 1 average crap its a spurious argument and everyone knows it Equivalent to say 4 less...

    Fisher on CWR

There have been meetings .... the latest of which was Monday. Yes ACL putting everything down in a letter ........... hell i would too, i would want a factual tangible record of the discussions and what has been offered. TF seems to imply CCFC are somehow a front line service in Coventry...

Free Radio report a Statutory Demand issued to CCFC

What the club pay around £10k a game is not rent. They are paying for the cost of things like staff and food in the Corporate/posh seats, the cost of providing car parking, cost of power etc ........... CCFC sell on the car parking, the corporate seats etc for income, use the power etc. The...

but at the moment it isnt about what the club can afford it is about what it chooses to afford............. there are significant other costs that have either increased or been built in. My problem with it is if they are taking viability seriously then you tackle all costs and drive them all...

average crowd 10000 ? If you cleared £200k after costs for the season profits i would be surprised

torch take a look at PWKH's post ,............ ACL did offer alternative lower rents and SISU dismissed them out of hand

but if finances are so critical why have we a squad of 37 and a FFP wages budget of £4.2m ........... if you are serious about getting a viable club you address all the costs not pick one and over spend on another.

But from what I know ACL have offered to reduce by over 50% but it was rejected out of hand so who is not being transparent in their actions The only income stream CCFc do not get is from the Kiosks it is very very hard to believe that the loss of profits(not the turnover because sales have...

i dont know for sure but it is a thought that has crossed my mind davebart. I think the lease is actually in CCFC Holdings not CCFC so that might be a possibility. That could leave CCFC to play under new lease at Ricoh or elsewhere. Time will tell what their game is........... at the moment SISU...

    Reaction to sisu on saturday?

i really think that TF, other directors, his exec directors and SISU have miscalculated the fans reaction to what they are doing....... not sure they all realise how out of touch they are with the fans. That said I dont actually think that SISU and Joy really care........ they have stamped...

They had a choice .......... they were in a strong position to break the lease and to reduce the rent, the club was going out of business unless they took over. But they chose to accept it ......... now bleat because it aint fair, its too much, we are only L1.......... well business isnt fair...

And yet Fletcher was closely involved at ACL and CCFC but changed nothing Could be wrong but right at the start the club was offered rent on the basis of usage which would have been better all round, leading to lower rents in L1. It was rejected by the club on the basis that they felt ACL were...

Council wouldnt want to but if it were for the greater good on balance of what they know they would have to. It isnt about whats best for the club for them it is what is best for the City ......... thats where their responsibility lies

last thing SISU want is their debt run down .......... its their clients money and they want it back Administration is a temporary period, a kind of financial care home, it allows an administrator to do deals with creditors to save a viable business but if he/she cant then its curtains. In...
