if the rent is sorted out

Got to assume that TF budgeted for a successful season ....... certainly the bugeted wage bill was aimed at that ...... so in a successful year he must have also budgeted for a £3m loss ?

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

Just a thought but for SISU to get their investors money back then the club has to stay at the Ricoh. They wont get the money back from the "profits" from playing at Nene Park. They need to get hold of the stadium to recoup their money. If they move out all ties between CCFC and Ricoh...

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

Agree with that sentiment but personally i think that if they went there then that it is just a step to not at all

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

Why do people think that running away to Northampton will save us from potential action under the Statutory demand. If the club has left or CCFC stay and refuse to pay then either way ACL get no rental income. So why let that continue - wouldnt have any choice but to issue winding up proceedings...

if the rent is sorted out

on the basis that they have budgeted for a £3m+ loss per TF at fans forum and the rent reduction will save a maximum of £1m I think we can assume that someone has to pick up the shortfall (SISU only candidates) or players be sold.

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

I doubt that was their first offer SBT - apparently they have all been talking for months so it is reasonable to assume that they must have had something to talk about. It was reported in the CT via the council that a 50% reduction offer was made previously for example. Certainly is their...

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

and yet the CT doesnt question whether it is actually viable ? :thinking about::facepalm: More bluster spin and deception from TF & co. There is taking a bargaining position (fair thing to do ) and there is bullshit (which this is ) As DTD says earlier on this thread due to the small capacity...

Why ACL's rent calculation could be justified.

Got to be careful with the FFP calculation .... there are a lot of things included but also some things that are not eg homegrown under 21, ...... the base figure is distorted by net player transfers also ....... so in theory you could have a situation that actually sees you spend more than 65%...

    Yesterdays meeting

I think the original plan was to march into Premier League under RR, buy the Ricoh and then sell as a Premiership package...... it all went wrong and now they (SISU) are adopting an aggressive hedge fund policy of distressing the club and its landlord to force acquisition of the site. CCFC...

    Yesterdays meeting

you assume that the meeting was constructive and went well .......... might not be the case and might have hardened the councils resolve on this matter not to give in :thinking about:

How rent would you say is 'fair' at the minute?

Perhaps a base rate of £300k might be acceptable to all. Personally if as ACL i settled at that i would also want an increment based on attendance - so that increased usage, wear and tear would be reflected in a sliding scale. If we went to the Championship I would want as ACL a base rate of say...

    Yesterdays meeting

Actually remaining at the stadium is also key to SISU's success in recovering their investment, but there you go :thinking about:

    A Reminder to ACL...

ACL arent getting paid any rent, havent been for 10 months .......... so any rent that ACL is able to generate is a positive to their cashflow ......... thing is at the lower levels that are being suggested then it doesnt have to be CCFC, it could be multiple tenants or events for example. ACL's...

CET: The deal turned down by sisu revealed

Sorry Godiva but i really dont know where to start with that........... there is quite a bit i disagree with...... but each to their own opinion :) I posed it as a series of rhetorical questions to try to get everyone to keep an open mind, to question what we are told from both sides, to not...

CET: The deal turned down by sisu revealed

I think people forget that the profits shown in ACL represent the rents they receive and a share of the profits with Compass. We should not assume that what is shown is the whole profits of the stadium clearly Compass make their share too (ACL only have 19 employees they arent going to be...

CET: The deal turned down by sisu revealed

just another thought .......... contrary to what some of those directly involved would have us believe it is highly unusual for a hedge fund to stay in position long term and the sole driving force is making money....... perhaps we lose sight of that sometimes when weighing up the pros and...

    Average League Attendance

means getting info from companies house on all clubs going through the accounts and making some calculated assumptions to begin with BSB. Trawling around and getting info. Not got time to do it right now but might at some point .

    Average League Attendance

not arguing with you what you say BSB ......... think where I am coming from is lets see the facts............. a lot of people just take what TF has said as fact and from what I can see it aint necessarily so. Have argued often that the club has to stand on its own two feet and that football...

    Average League Attendance

I agree stupot, just got a feeling the next couple of sets of accounts are going to hold a few surprises that fans are not going to be happy about, not quite what we have been led to believe shall we say - but that just a guess on my part right now
