    response

Essentially though the business model at CCFC hasnt changed since the day it disposed ofthe match day income rights. Everyone and their dog realised that the key to success was good fiscal control but above all the level of income. So given that premise the only way to make it a success was...

    Mark Labovitch re administration

grego .................. accounts go to 31st May 2012 .............. the Olympics were in August 2012 CCFC rent in 2012 ACL figs = approx 17% if new rent at 400k and all other income same then Turnover would be around 6.9m and rent for ccfc would be approx 6% of total

    Mark Labovitch re administration

it goes to CCFC but in the accounts of CCFCH they make a provision against it, I assume on the basis it is not recoverable so it doesnt show as an amount due to ccfch. A corresponding provision is not made in the CCFC accounts however and a debt to group companies is still there

    Mark Labovitch re administration

neither techincally if the set up remains as per the 2011 accounts. SISU lent the money to SBS&L who then lent that money to CCFCH who then lent it to CCFC. Caveat to that is it may have changed since we dont know

    Mark Labovitch re administration

None of us really know but the serious concerns for ACL seem to have receded though havent they when despite the dispute they could sign off as a going concern. Yes the Council backed loan was significant, but not just to ACL. If you look at the accounts then projections have been made for...

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

just another thought on conflict of interest A director/shadow director of a company has a duty to only do what is best for the company of which he/she is director or shadow director when making decisions for that company I would imagine the costs of this dispute are chanelled through...

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

Just some thoughts/opinions The reason that they are challenging the original agreement is because if they are successful they could potentially, break the lease, obtain refunds of rent, structure a deal to buy into ACL who probably couldnt afford to repay rent, and or distress ACL to the...

    Mark Labovitch re administration

Thing I do not get with that scenario of CCFCH being the business going forward is that essentially other than a break in the lease it is the same business going forward but in a different name. We all know that the current set up has massive debt and continues to make losses (in TF's own words...

would guess they would have liked it to be more supportive of the club and by association them

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

Have no evidence that they wont deliver though have we. I have listed what has been released in summary form for both. We dont actually know that there is no interest on the SISU linked loans for instance. Only reason SISU put money into CCFC in the last few years is that CCFC couldnt pay...

Council borrow £14m from central government at favourable rates...... then lend that money on at a higher rate to a profit making body key to the redevelopment of a large part of the city, a body that the council is major stakeholder in and will reduce that body's costs and cash flows, plus...

SISU can make money on Coventry City liquidating.....

I fully endorse your first comment. just a couple of queries if i may What was the biggest single factors in us getting relegated from the Championship? ......... lack of investment and the appointment of the cheapest option as manager perhaps? Have all of our signings been successful or...

    Investors

ok i will correct you :) ............ Both TF and ACL have both confirmed that the £24m is spurious and formed no part in any negotiations. ACL are not looking to sell the catering rights for the whole site. What was sold was 47 years worth of profits from matchday Hospitality, F&B's for £6m

Just a thought ........ but as well as a barely veiled ultimatum to ACL but was the TF Guardian article an advert to a wider financial audience that SISU want out of a distressed company and are willing to listen to offers? :thinking about:

SISU can make money on Coventry City liquidating.....

No SBJ the loss hasnt been crystallised yet. We are not talking about the losses CCFC make each year those are revenue losses and can be moved around the companies in the group but unlikely group relief claimed as no group company in profit. It is the difference between what SISU have put in...
