Mindless idiots / kids these days!

I still can't believe some people still try & defend them. I get sick & tired of listening to the excuse of the 'youth are angry' or 'they have nothing else to do'. I too am 26, I don't remember having a great deal to do when I was younger but I didn't go around wrecking other peoples property.

Rumours of something on Foleshill road as well.

    Leave poor Freddie alone!

Why is someone mindless for questioning the application of some of our players? We pay their wages therefore I think we are entittled to express an opinion between each other, after all this isn't a dictatorship. In my opinion questioning the club & players is the complete opposite of mindless.

    Crowd

I don't understand why anyone expects a club that has had 1 good season in 40 years to get good crowds. If your a non die hard fan wheres the motivation to go?

Sisu - is it just possible they are doing it right ?

Out of interest what will actually happen to clubs that don't live within their means? I've not seen this published anywhere.

    Crowd

This lot had support very similar to ours in the past, now they get good crowds because their owners show some ambition. http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/leic.htm

    Brum & Palace

What realistically can we get from these two games? I can't see us getting anything at Brum but maybe a draw at Palace.

    Crowd

If we're talking about cringe worthy songs, why make up a song about how you don't care about us? Do you not realise the contradiction of that?

    Gary Hoffman

I would be pleased to see him come in, purely on the basis he can't make a worse job of it than Sisu. As for saying he's making the same promises as Sisu, well anyone who takes over a football club is going to say that.

Premiership football within two years, hopefully one ...

If your saying that we should accept that we are nothing more than a bottom end championship club then don't expect anything more than bottom end championship attendences. Since moving to the Ricoh we have always been a top half club in terms of support, how often has the team given us a...

CET stand less than half full

It looked to me as though everyone moved to blocks 17 & 18.

That will probably be our biggest crowd of the season

    Enough is enough!

Why would it have ended up with liquidisation though when other clubs with no assets survive it?

    Enough is enough!

I agree that it is the previous owners that are to blame with the current situation, however SISU have done nothing in order to reverse the clubs fortunes. I would love someone to explain to me why SISU bought us in the first place, what their business plan was, & why it changed.

    Leicester...

I consider it a Derby, I don't really see how it can't be. The one I don't understand is when people class wolves as a derby game.

    Highfield road

Some of the residents were moaning about the sunlight onto their gardens being blocked by the new stand. Also I have a programme from the last game of the 94/95 season in which Bryan Richardson is talking about a new stand being built the following year in the corner of the West stand & Main...

    Highfield road

There were proposals around 1996/97 time to replace the M&B stand with a huge 10,000 seater stand and also to build a sports complex on the other side of Thackhall st on the old car park. Some of the local councillors complained though and it was dropped.

"They just seem to support one of those clubs that never do anything during a season"

In my experience Portsmouth seem to have some of the most unpleasant supporters around.

Dispatches - How To Buy A Football Club

I think Mr Sim was putting money in himself, he was going to end up with shares in 3 clubs.

    First CCFC games.

November 1994 v Crystal Palace http://www.statbunker.com/football/btb/index.php?PL=match&MatchID=2622 We lost 4-1, the ground was less than half full, and we were awful. How little things change. I remember how awesome salako looked for them. Just out of curiousity how many people actually...
