I don't disagree with what your saying on individual games, my original point was just that the first three years the Ricoh was there we did get good crowds. During that time nothing changed at the club so its a little unfair to blame the fans. I think a lot of the lost fans saw the Ricoh...

I know what your saying about the better clubs attracting the bigger crowds, but I honestly think the slow start against Leeds was due to the big crowd. The players seemed to be affected by it.

Exactly, we never win when we get big crowds. I'm pretty sure there was a stat that showed the 10 biggest crowds at the Ricoh, and we had only won 1. We stand more chance of staying up with 15k up there for the rest of the season.

Dulieu: City were within 'a couple of days' of going into Admin

It seems if we keep being nasty to them they'll clear off.

Dulieu: City were within 'a couple of days' of going into Admin

"We've probably got the best stadium in the Championship and there is a future here, and this is a short-term problem." It's not our stadium and we've been like this for 10 years, hardly short term.

    The next six months...

What do you think will happen to our football club then within the next 6 months? I think 2011 will be remembered as the most dramatic year in our history. We could have a takeover, securing the clubs future and ownership of the stadium. Theres a chance of Administration. Sisu could...

    New Investors

In that press conference it was said the club was not for sale. They also said they need new investment and can't just rely on Sisu. Am I interpreting that right when I think it means they want to maintain 100% ownership of the club but just want someone to give them a load of money?

Training ground now has 1M Mortgage

The words Sisu investment now seem a contradiction in terms. This is like re-mortgaging your house to pay the gas bill. Would it not have been better to have re-mortgaged Ryton back in 2008 and put that money towards buying the Ricoh?

Its official: Ranson has gone; Statement to follow at 2pm today

Maybe this is a bit like when GR resigned as chairman when he tried to takeover the club with his own consortium.

    Pot, Kettle, Black??

I dont really see how he can claim the club is worse off now than when SISU took over. Fair enough to say they haven't took the club forward, but he seems to be making out he left the club with just a few small problems and that the current owners have created the current mess.

    Reason for delay

Does anyone have a theory for the delay in the official announcement of Ranson's departure?
  16. coundonskyblue

    Just so i'm clear,

With Southampton they were deducted points the following season because they went down. Had they stayed up they would have had the points deduction that season.
