£6m is only £600 from 10,000 supporters but that assumes everyone has a spare £600 in their bank. Maybe the Higgs would take a lower offer from the fans if it wasn't breaking Charity rules and the Commission wouldn't shout at them as a result.

That ignores the Higgs share that they've had the option on since 'purchasing' the club. It also doesn't explain why they only entered into negotiations with the Higgs after the rent boycott had started. Also didn't Fisher state they were looking at sites or had engaged a firm to help them plan...

However SISU haven't said that statement is incorrect, a downright lie or started defamation proceedings against ACL which you would think they would do given how much they like resorting to lawyers.

The problem as I understand it is that the Higgs can't just sell at any price to SISU they have to get a fair returnon their investment or the Charity Comission would crucify them. Who'd like to bet that SISU didn't have anything like that amount for half of ACL and that's why they walked away...
