I think that it was down to insurance and which company was insured, SISU said after Administration had started that it was Holdings paying and playing there. However othe contract was with Ltd and that's who the insurance was covering. Someone else will remember more than me.

That was my first, second and third thoughts yes.

SixReasons Not To Go To Sixfields this Sunday - updated in response to comments!

There's a Tiddlywinks team? ;) No wait I've got it - SISU will launch a legal attack on ACL for pinching their customers.

SixReasons Not To Go To Sixfields this Sunday - updated in response to comments!

If it makes SISU realise that ACL aren't going to go bust, despite the lack of CCFC they might return to the negotiating table. Maybe I'm overly optimistic but I think there's more chance of that than the White Elephant stadium ever getting built. Where are the plans for the White Elephant...

Are you going anywhere nice or just to Sixfields? (With apologies to NTFC fans)

How are you reading bitterness into that statement? I just saw it as a quick statement, the sort that I'd post if I was on a phone when posting and didn't like typing long sections of text on it or wanted to be brief as I was short of time.

Arena 2000. Does anyone still have one of these...........

Think there's one at my Mum's house somewhere will have a look next time I'm there. Anyone know who produced and published it, was it the club?
  9. James Smith

    CCFC anyone there?

You're damn right SISU are doing that mostly by themselves. They don't need our help.

If acl act on behalf of joint owners CCc/Alan Higgs

They could have probably bought the Higgs share for less than that, although we don't know the exact figures the Higgs need/want for their share. Instead they walked away after agreeing heads of terms who knows why they did this? Although if OSB58 is correct it was another lowball offer from...

    The Academy

It was my understanding from posts on here that we only kept our Category 2 status because we were assessed at the Higgs Centre and I don't think we'd get it now at Warwick Uni. CCC and ACL were nothing to do with this facility other than one of the shareholders of ACL stumped up the cash to pay...

kcic-nopm campaign: Six Reasons not to go to sixfields

The reason I can think of for not taking a free ticket is because it makes the fact that we're playing 35 miles away in Northampton and the fact that this is unpopular more obvious with an empty home supporters section. Looks bad on the FL show if there are only a handful of home supporters, and...

Don't worry they'll be building a new facility for the Academy at the White Elephant stadium  Where are the new stadium plans Tim?

If acl act on behalf of joint owners CCc/Alan Higgs

Yeah other councils have offloaded loss making stadia or offered their tenants part ownership of the company managing the stadium. At the moment though ACL isn't costing the council anything much (apart from SISU legal challenges) so why sell at a loss? The loan to ACL is actually making a minor...

If acl act on behalf of joint owners CCc/Alan Higgs

But the likely result of the calculation from your equation will be more than the guesstimated figure of £5m, probably a lot more. Now if we believe the ACL statement where Joy supposedly said* sell me the Ricoh freehold at my price or the club never comes back to the Ricoh, if the council...

If acl act on behalf of joint owners CCc/Alan Higgs

Reading between the lines I think the two parties are miles if not light years apart on what they consider a suitable figure and what that figure will actually buy. Suppose Joy said at the ownership meeting that she wanted the Freehold of the Ricoh and the surrounding land for say the £5m OSB58...

Time for common sense from us fans!

I think the reason for taking the club to Northampton is the SISU version of NOPM only theirs is aimed at ACL. Given there isn't any business case for the move to Sixfields, the only reason that Sisu could have for moving us is that they're hoping to distress ACL further. They allegedly want the...

    Consider this.

Quite happy to support the team just not at 'home' in Northampton.
