    The Academy

Is this anything to do with the board meeting minutes from 2008?

    The end of nopm?

There is no business case for playing at Sixfields other than the SISU version of NOPM which is aimed at ACL and the distressing of the same.

    The end of nopm?

Some will go but many won't because they can't walk there or it's too far or it doesn't feel like a Coventry side. I think Tim may see 3k as the magic figure for home supporters (given his comments at the forums) where he will feel vindicated if they get that at Sixfields with genuine paying...

I come out for lunch and turn on the radio and they're saying we're 3-0 up, brilliant stuff.

    What have i missed?

    A sisu plant - a Yukka perhaps ;)

Would this definitely not be a solution?

Well apart from Tim stating at the forums that we're at the bottom of the business cycle and you don't sell at the bottom (well you took us to the bottom Tim and you're still plumbing the depths by keeping us in Northampton) it would remove any hope of SISU getting their hands on the Ricoh...

Okay when the Stadium complex and land is eventually sold it should make the council money that can be put to good use. In the mean time as you pointed out to me the loan to ACL is making the council a minor profit.

Joy Sepalla to appear on Dragons Den

Think I'd rather see Tim justifying the White Elephant Stadium and the move to Sixfields to them. Joy would just stay cloaked the whole time and we'd still never see her.

No I never said they had it in any manifesto, they don't have to they were reacting to a situation as it unfolded. You vote to elect someone to power who will represent you and make decisions about the area over which they were elected to serve. They then make decisions on your behalf (also...

As Grendel has asked me to, and to be fair I do prefer to have proof of a statement made I'm going to ask you this. Do you have any proof to back up your claim that it is better for the council to hold on to the freehold of a multimillion pound stadium and associated land for the good of the...

I thought that the democratically elected representatives of those citizens unanimously voted for it. That's what they're there to do, make decisions on behalf of the electorate. If you're unhappy with this then don't vote for them at the next election.

Actually I don't think that they can just give it away as part of it was a loan to the club, before the club sold their share in ACL. My battery is on its last legs I think so time to go.

The leader of the council said it.

Yes there is a risk if they default just as there is risk in everything. I'm not an expert on financial risk so I can't comment on that with any in depth knowledge. However as with the flat that I rent I would have thought that if ACL got a tenant who actually pays rent then that would lower any...

Sorry what debt burden? The loan to ACL is actually making a minor profit for the council, Grendel told me that.

I'd probably die of shock if they ever did build the White Elephant stadium. It obviously depends on how many people and the type of employment plus where and if they would they be moving from a current job to fill these roles. If it's just Stewarding matches every other week in the season then...
