Really? Then surely in previous years(noting that no football between mid-May and Mid-August) the turnover should have been even higher than it was in the Olympic years accounts? Got to say it doesn't sound that likely.

Would you take relegation if it meant the end of Sisu ?

I'm sorry, did I miss the bit where Sisu fucked off after we were put into admin last year and we were taken over by some glorious new owners? Well, if that didn't work, surely getting relegated would be the very best thing for us, after all we have potential, and have fans that will support...

Drew down £960,000 of the £2.7million for the Casino lease in those accounts. Don't know how much left of that amount for the future though.

That increased turnover though pretty much down to the one off event of the Olympics, imagine turnover for the following year will be much reduced, though hopefully their profit will have risen.

Would you take relegation if it meant the end of Sisu ?

Like Admin and points deductions got rid of Sisu? The problem is, the self-loathing that a lot of our fans have the club, hoping for ever greater bad news to rid us of Sisu, means that we then become ever less attractive to any potential new owners. I'd rather they'd never got involved in the...

Swollen turnover indeed, reduced profits though. The Olympics, as I think i said sometime ago when some were going on about how many millions that ACL would make of it, it appears ran at a loss. The old business adage applies, Turnover for vanity, profit for sanity.

MEP makes fraud claim against council over Ricoh funding

Just know that you're hoping it's the Illuminati or The Bilderberg Group Jack.

Though the council did wield some influence when Sisu their preferred owners of the club at the time they took over. Strange as that may seem now.

If the Krankies owned it there might be a few more swinging parties at the Ricoh.

Think possibly scuppered by Martin Reeves moving from ACL to Yorkshire Bank, but does not mean that the plan was not agreed in the first place.

This pretty much covers the whole thing. Believe or disbelieve as you like, but you can't deny that there is some plausibility to the whole thing. All come out in the wash in the JR, which, fidiciary responsibilty or not, was something that ACL wanted dropped...

2½ times our points deduction in the last 8 weeks.

As I alluded to earlier though, does not the whole admin/points reduction etc all stem from a possible renegeing on an agreement between Sisu/ACL/CCC to enable Sisu to take over the Ricoh lease because they wanted force some sort of "regime change"? If that is the case, then all culpability...

They would have been happy enough apparently with all of that if the JR was dropped though?
  14. lordsummerisle

2½ times our points deduction in the last 8 weeks.

Genuinely think we would have been. Part of it was the change of plan from Sisu taking the ACL loan to CCC taking it on instead, therefore giving no stake in the Ricoh. If, as has been said, and not denied as far as I'm aware, the original plan between ACL/SISU was to deliberately withold the...

The old law of "unintended consequences" definitely came into play here. We all know that Sisu are a particularly nasty, hard headed hedge-fund who like to get their own way(The majority rejoiced in that when they came in). Did anybody really think that they'd just roll over and fuck off?

They did make dropping the JR a condition to accepting the CVA.

So it was a great success getting rid of Sisu and replacing them with Otium then? Would you say that that the attempted "coup" by ACL to try and force out Sisu for their more favoured owners, by instigating(though not actually completing it due to Sisu just beating them to it) administration...

Not really worth coming back really was it? You get points deductions for moving ground now do you? Must be the only club in the land that has fans that actually take pleasure in points deductions. Put the club into admin the day before ACL did, and was something that the Sky Blues Trust...
