    Gay Footballers

To be fair you didn't really need to be outed as a black player. Whilst there are still pockets of racism in football, nowhere near as bad as it was, think people be surprised by how, and I hate the word, "inclusive" people are nowadays, though always need to keep an eye on it rearing it's head...

    A Question for The Accountants

You could say that changing the remaining loan of 14.4 million over 15 years to loan of the same value over 40 years, ensuring that far,far more is repaid than would have been the case if the original loan had continued is ripping off a private company and charity. If the councils loan(again no...

    A Question for The Accountants

OSB explained that he'd got the 1.2% guess wrong on the other thread and said more likely to be between 4.5 and 4.8%. As far as I'm aware the exact terms of the loan that the council took out for ACL haven't been made public.

Nice piece by Jeremy Wright MP

You're right, Valiant will be livid. Fuck all to do with anybody who doesn't live in Coventry.

Then we should be averaging what we had at Highfield Road in the Prem, even with the much reduced capacity to the Ricoh. Tbh, think that the Highfield Road size was about right, only hit capacity once or twice even during the "good years" there.

Sky Blue Sports & Leisure 2013 accounts

The wise Northern Wisdom said that the council should have bent over bacwards to help the club with a new ground, offerering suitable sites, stating would be no objections from them with regards to planning permission etc. Would have flushed out Sisu's real intentions a bit sooner than refusal...

    ACL group accounts 2013

I don't know what the interest rate was on the loan off the Yorkshire Bank, but would have had to have been about 13% to equal the same amount being repaid over 40 years as they were on the 15 remaining. If the council loan taken out over 40 years also(don't know anything about terms of that...

Neutral I'd have thought as the fabled *Coventry Tax Payer" is also owner of ACL in part.

    ACL group accounts 2013

Won't ACL actually be paying a lot more for the loan now over 40 years to the council than they would have done if continued with the Yorkshire Bank loan which had around 15 years left to run?

Andy Thorn favourite for the Kidderminster job

I wouldn't mention it all if that was the case. So it's just cryptic "i know more than you" bollocks after all then.

Andy Thorn favourite for the Kidderminster job

Why would Thorn be in misery? If I was getting paid loads(twice!) for a job I was ill qualified to perform i'd be quite happy to take it, but would expect a tap on the shoulder at any time once it had been twigged.
