Sky Blues administrator: Still time for warring parties to strike up a deal

Actually from reading that I don't think ACL were always going to get their full amount if they rejected the CVA. The reason they did (or will - have they had it yet) was because the FL were saying if you want the Golden Share back Otium/SISU/CCFC then you need to pony up the dough.

PKH - Academy And Higgs Talks Are Going Well

To be fair to the Higgs Centre, as a charity I don't think that they're allowed to reject the CVA, as just an investor the board of ACL were responsible for the decision to reject and not the Higgs Charity.

As much as I hate Shitzu

To be fair, in this post (and I think only this post)he/she hasn't said go in just turn up so may actually be advocating watching from the hill and supporting NOPM.

    Coventry V Sheffield United

The reasons against the mass exodus are once people go inside and allowed Tim to say "I told you so" they might be tempted to stay for the rest of the match, to return for another game (they've done it once so why not do it again), and will have had to pay to get in.

Pretty certain that throwing "missiles" (which I think is the police term for objects thrown) at the pitch will still get you into trouble with the law.

    Coventry V Sheffield United

If there were enough people there on the hill I'm fairly certain Sky would send a camera up to film and probably interview the people there. If there is something they can use and insert into the pre match coverage then chances are they'll use it because it breaks up the monotony of the studio...

'Jimmy's Hill' protests having the desired effect!

Yeah I think I was about that age when I went to my first away game which may well have been Villa.

The war is over, time for the peace treaty

When I wrote I only meant that they haven't gone into Administration yet or asked the council for more money, either of which I think we would have heard about. I only know what's published I don't have a listening device in the ACL offices, or a tap on their phones (both of which would be...

'Jimmy's Hill' protests having the desired effect!

    I've been saying that for a while. http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/36371-Telegraph-article?p=536491&viewfull=1#post536491 http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/36371-Telegraph-article?p=536349&viewfull=1#post536349

The war is over, time for the peace treaty

You're right, some companies budget for initial losses on projects because they can see that there will be a greater return in the long run. There isn't an issue unless the money runs out or the project goes way over budget, now we haven't even reached Tim's lower forum estimate which is...

    What is plan B?

What evidence do you have for this, it's slightly absurd to claim that ACL need our club more than they need the Ricoh. They have always claimed that they can survive without us and they haven't gone bust yet. It doesn't mean that their claim is correct just that there hasn't been anything to...

So what do you guys actually want?

What worries me is that SISU are, or more specifically Tim is making statements again that ACL could take at face value. The worst of these statements mentioned liquidation which was a fairly dumb thing to say and opened a can of worms. So saying we've moved on indicates we aren't coming back...

So what do you guys actually want?

I want to see us back in Coventry at our new home, as promised by Tim. The longer we are at Sixfields the greater the financial burden on SISU who are covering the cost of us being there. Therefore why no planning applications have lodged is just bizarre, I don't agree with the move to...

So what do you guys actually want?

Look we've moved on from the Ricoh so you don't have to worry about the council or ACL anymore and we'll be in our own stadium in a few years time. Plus SISu are bankrolling us whilst our new home is built so no need to go or to worry about the finances. From the hill or will you be...

The war is over, time for the peace treaty

I agree that the club needs all the money it can get to make it sustainable, not sure anyone is really disputing that. Just find it a bit odd though that SISU who chose to bankroll the club for the next (at least) three years whilst our new home is built, are willing to spend more propping up...

The war is over, time for the peace treaty

We don't actually know the genuine figure though do we? Now whilst I agree that such a figure is possible, any figures mentioned by people on here (with the exception of probably PWKH) are very likely to be pure guesswork.

Action Plan -- but how ?

There is a problem as I understand it in that SISU are not talking to ACL, they've "moved on, that ship has sailed, the eagle has become a turkey etc.". Now if you believe the ACL statement about what Joy allegedly said then we won't be back until SISU own the Ricoh at her price. Now we don't...

What a great blog post, says it all really.

Did I support ACL & CCC for the right or wrong reasons?

Yeah I think someone said that they have to vote for it being a charity but because they're only shareholders in ACL same compulsion didn't apply in that case.

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

We'd better hope that they do because I can't see us back at the Ricoh anytime soon given all the statements. We need to see the plans Tim and you need to get the planning application in now.
