We'll Come Back To The Ricoh...

From today's article. From reading that it looks to me like there wasn't any room for building trust by back up slowly by agreeing anything other than a sale of the Ricoh to SISU. On another thread Northern Wisdom said But now we know in a statement straight (via Les Reid) from the horses...

    Les reid's ct article

Well I posted a thread where I said that we should just forget about the Ricoh and concentrate on the new stadium. http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/36408-Stuff-ACL-and-the-council-I-m-fed-up I said I wouldn't be very popular for this opinion but I did mean it, we should be concentrating on...

Is SISU preparing to sell Otium ?

Ooh I've heard about this, my former builders were quoting for it I think. Well maybe not but they had to be doing something else given how long they took and the amount of time they actually spent away from the house doing something else. I can just hear the excuse about long travel to the site...

Les Reid Exclusive INterview with Seppalla....

I was just remembering PSGM1 and his comments that Mr Linnell took as being defamatory - got the site a lot of publicity though as it was mentioned on CWR repeatedly after the match.

Les Reid Exclusive INterview with Seppalla....

I'm assuming that your post is in jest, but otherwise you'd seriously be telling the judge that then if Les got legal on you?

Not sure anyone knows when he's bluffing and when he isn't anymore.

Les Reid Exclusive INterview with Seppalla....

No it's entirely possible that he just called up her office and asked, the club is trying to be more open with fans and she may see this as part of the process. There is no evidence that Les has ever taken any payment of any sort from SISU.

Especially as we've moved on and won't be considering the Ricoh Tim said to Stuart Linnell on BBC CWR in May My bolding & underling http://www.football.co.uk/coventry_city/we_have_moved_on_-_fisher_rss4218924.shtml My concern despite Tim's comments is that they're secretly still hoping to go...

    Les reid's ct article

The key difference for me is that ACL currently have have a physical asset that they hold a lease on, CCFC only have Ryton. If ACL have reduced costs/overheads by enough they might not need as much revenue incoming to break even. If they can offer a rent now of just £150k to whoever then unless...

Thing is I'm looking at this from a what's the worst that could happen future and I don't like the possible outcomes, the first one you mentioned is sadly looking very optimistic.

Okay but hypothetically suppose they do, what happens to our club? I'm looking at this from a worst case scenario point of view* and if we can't come back to the Ricoh where in Coventry are we going to play? *Which some might say has already happened in moving to Sixfields etc.

To me that says we're screwed.

Yeah but just suppose hypothetically they don't, what then?

    Les reid's ct article

No real idea but at a guess Weddings, exhibitions, conferences, room hire, hotel etc. We're still just as screwed if they really don't need us.
  16. James Smith

    Support!

I thought the idea was that you stopped the damage and try to get them saleable, not continue it and make things far worse before you then try and make it better. When they took over we at least had somewhere to play in our own city and were in the Championship, she & SISU managed to get us into...

    Christmas present

If the Ricoh was packed it might make a point to SISU but sadly I suspect they'd refuse the idea as it goes against their policy of NOPM against ACL so it wouldn't happen. I'd love to see it though.

But Tim said "We've moved on" very publicly and we would be building our new stadium within 3-5 years. So that begs the question why haven't we seen anything concrete (pun not intended) on the new stadium, like plans or planning permission or land purchase etc. If ACL move on too then we're...

kcic @ sisu office London W1K 6PL Wednesday 25 September

I thought the KCIC was supported by the NOPM campaign by making it as financially painful for SISU to keep us in Northampton as possible. Just my personal thoughts though and other people may differ in their views.

    Fans are slowly winning..

As you say we can only guess (although it's a probably a good guess) that SISU are having a financial nightmare at Sixfields and that ACL are facing a large decline in revenues without us. We don't know as a fact that either of them are, as they haven't published and indeed I think don't yet...
