James- I'm not certain if your surety with regards to moving on from the Ricoh is tongue in cheek or heartfelt belief.
In my opinion we haven’t moved on from the Ricoh at all as far as SISU are concerned- it is still their number one goal, with distressing ACL and co their primary reason for the ludicrous decision to move to Northampton. With projected business losses increasing due to the move to Sixfields, what other reason can there be for this disastrous decision?

What worries me is that SISU are, or more specifically Tim is making statements again that ACL could take at face value. The worst of these statements mentioned liquidation which was a fairly dumb thing to say and opened a can of worms. So saying we've moved on indicates we aren't coming back and gives ACL the green light to develop their business without us and therefore it is vital that we have a plan B. If ACL do also "move on" it means unless there is progress on a new home we will actually be homeless with no stadium in the Coventry area either built or being built to come back to. I'm worried that that could mean we don't come back at all.

If as you say Sisu are just playing the waiting game then it's a risky and dumb thing to do with our club. What are they going to do if ACL do move on, take legal action so that we can play at the Ricoh when the cost of bankrolling the club at Sixfields with limited support/revenue as a result becomes too much?

NOPM: are better off distressing ACL so they are forced to deal more favourably with SISU leading to...

Not sure how that works as I think the football fans & the conference/event attendees are for the most part a different crowd.

You could make a stand by not going to a Ricoh events like the Summer concerts, Psychic Sally, the Snooker or the Casino if those things interest you, but it is not as if those events won't find an adequate audience from non CCFC fans.

For my part other than CCFC matches I've only been to 5 events at the Ricoh since it opened (2 football matches, 1 concert & 2 exhibitions). When I went to CCFC matches I never bought food or a program so my spending directly to ACL has been very limited, in reality their income comes mostly from people outside the City.
