    SISU's achievements in 5 years

I remember at the time Paul Fletcher saying the club need attendences of 35k to make any money.

    SISU's achievements in 5 years

When Pompey came out of admin in 2010 their CVA terms were they pay back 20p in the £1, so £37m would mean the new owners would have had to pay out around £7.5m to clear outstanding debts. However as you point out some debts may have been written off (owed to previous directors etc), but I...

    Yeah, it's the rent

"distorted recollection of events" Thats got Sisu written all over it.

    SISU's achievements in 5 years

We would still have had some of the debt, as whoever would have bought the club instead of Sisu would have had to agree to pay the creditors a certain amout of pennies in the pound. The rest of what you say I totally agree with.

    We could be heading here...

This is a picture of a current League 1 clubs away 'stand'. I think this picture in itself highlights how low we will have fallen if we go down.

    Yeah, it's the rent

I think if the Club was owned by local people who did a good job then there would be an argument for the Council helping them out financially. However as a Coventry Council taxpayer, why should I have to pay more tax so Onye can have a payrise?

    Yeah, it's the rent

Pretty sure the Ricoh won an award a few years ago for best exihbition hall in the UK, so it could easily move in that direction. As for Birmingham council, they have no authority here so they can piss off!

    Yeah, it's the rent

Plenty of anti council posts on here today then

    The Run- In.

Don't forget Pompey play Donny on Saturday which seen as Donny are now more or less down has to look like a Pompey win. Its getting so confusing I don't know who I want to win what!

    The Run- In.

Suppose your right, the only problem is I think Millwall are already too far ahead for us to catch.

    The Run- In.

Agree, even if we win the two home games but lose both the away ones we will go down.

    The Run- In.

Pompey have to win tonight. Can't see us getting more than 7 points, therefore we need Bristol to get no more than 4 points, or Millwall to get no more than 1 (Due to their better GD)

    Millwall attendance

They said on the radio that was the only win there since 1976.
  14. coundonskyblue

    Portsmouth vs Millwall

Millwall already on 44 points, they only need 1 win and they will be safe.

Forget he arguing here's the facts of where we are...

What about Walsall and Notts County?

Forget he arguing here's the facts of where we are...

I think win the 2 home games and a draw away and we might just be able to stay up. Can't see us getting anything at Southampton (its likely they will still need a win for the title), therefore if we lose at Burnley we are down imo.

    SISU Please go

Remember that season ticket money has already been allocated.

    Final fixtures

I think we will get two wins and a draw out of our last 4 games (under normal circumstances would be a good return) which will leave us on 46 points. For Millwall to beat that they would only need 2 points from their last 5 games due to their far better goal diff. For Bristol to beat us on...

    Coventry v Bristol Matchday thread

I wondered how long it would take till a CWR caller blamed the supporters.

    Coventry v Bristol Matchday thread

My feelings exactly, I had got used to the idea to the point I had stop caring. They've drawn me in again like they always do so it will just hurt all the more if we go down now.
