This club has a losing mentality...

Well the current L1 average attendence is 7227, take out Charlton and the 2 Sheffield clubs and it drops to 5634. We can say that at £15 a ticket we need to sell 80,000 a year to cover the rent, which works out at about 3500 per game. So if we were to be getting crowds of around 9000 next year...

This club has a losing mentality...

But the size of our fanbase suggests we are a mid table championship team, so IF the club is run correctly we should have no problem in coming back up.

Why varnish your opinion of them? Come on tell us what you really think of Sisu!

This club has a losing mentality...

Obviously I don't want us to go down, and I agree I think we may struggle down there next season, however I am trying to be optimistic about in. Next season will not be good, but history suggests that clubs our size do bounce back from there. No club is too big to go down, but lots are too big...

Even if we get something out of our game that Bristol score is really bad for us.

A little bit of straw clutching here but ....

Doesn't last nights result just mean that saints will probably now have to beat us?

Thorn sacked if we lose tomorrow

Lose tomorrow & were down anyway so not really much point in getting rid of him then.

    Big bang

Did anyone hear the people ringing into CWR about it? I think some were being serious with their concerns about an alien invasion! If the great leap of making contact with a civilisation from across the galaxy had just happened did they really think Malcolm Boyden would be the one breaking the...

    SISU's achievements in 5 years

I don't blame Sisu for everything. However they can be blamed for: The lies Lack of business plan Not understanding Football Taking a failing business and actually making it worse! Using emotional blackmail to get supporters shares for free. Using blackmail against the council, and I suspect...

    Yeah, it's the rent

Its the same regardless of which division were in and the crowds we get. I agree that the deal is harsh on the club, but my argument is Sisu knew exactly what they were letting themselves in for. Prior to buying the club they should have sat down with ACL and put forward something like you...

    SISU's achievements in 5 years

In fairness I think with costs being lower now the club would make money on about 25k

How are we different to any other club in financial trouble?

    SISU's achievements in 5 years

Think we would have all being more accepting of the cost cutting in 2007/08 as well. We had just nearly gone under, had Sisu come in and said no money for players but we're going to sort out all the off field problems (Stadium, debt) then I would have supported that.

Why would we have been the first club in the higher divisions in about 90 years to disappear?
