Perhaps Joy should try it then, if that's all it takes?

True - you can always ask!!

True, but some businesses manage to keep friendly relations with those who have departed. Some even think it may be in their business interest so to do, something about not burning bridges unnecessarily.

    Golden share found!

It could be a positive. Let's assume that SISU's action has some validity - even though they appealed against the 10 point deduction "after taking extensive legal advice", only to drop the action 2 or 3 days later.... If so, the council may see some immediate benefit in unwinding the loan...

I imagine that SBM was referring to the position post resignation.

Two wrongs don't make a right

Funny how the passage of time can make things clearer. I was very critical of SISU over the way negotiations with ACL about the rent were handled. It seemed crazy to me that when they were locked into a legally binding contract and wanted the other party to amend the terms in their favour...

    Golden share found!

If that's true, things could really start to happen now - and for once, that could be in a positive way.

Predictions for how or financial fiasco will play out over the summer and beyond

Acceptable offers?? We understand that Hoffman's previous offer was £1. Since that time, according to TF, SISU have "invested" many more millions into the club and are now left with a business that, again according to TF, would have to be put into liquidation in the absence of a better rent...

    Oldskyblue Getting Very Warm

So just to be clear... Given that at the moment we appear to be left with either the continuance of SISU, or the possibility of a takeover by Hoffman et al, am I correct in thinking that your preference would be to keep SISU?

5 years ago?? Are you quite sure there wasn't anything more recent that you might have overlooked???:whistle:

    Oldskyblue Getting Very Warm

Because if you believe what SISU say, the company in administration is a non-trading subsidiary that only has "property assets", on that basis it should be pretty straightforward.

Pressley & Bakers Speechs Last night

I'm yet to be convinced by Pressley, but he certainly deserves credit for that.

    Oldskyblue Getting Very Warm

I'm no expert on administration, so I'm happy to be corrected by someone who is - however, my understanding was that the May Court date for the administrator to report back was the latest deadline for him to do this, not the first day that he was able to "do anything". Some administrations are...

Predictions for how or financial fiasco will play out over the summer and beyond

Marvellous rant and all that, but (rashly) assuming that it was meant to be a serious post, could you please explain why the SBT having a place on the Board would "deny a position to someone who could either inject money OR is more likely to have knowledge / access to people with real money who...

Joe Elliott is attending the Sky Blues Kenilworth Supporters Club tomorrow -Wednesday

I'd accept that your approach has always been to support the club - and by implication - whoever is owning/running it. I respect that, but differ from you in that I supported SISU until their behaviour became such that I could no longer see a positive future for the club with them at the...

Tim Fisher in bizzare public confrontation

It's all down to a sense of proportion. Personally I think the balloon tying was a bit silly given the current state of play - however some people seem to give it a sense of importance (often expressed with a slightly worrying degree of outrage) that I simply don't understand. Hence my...

Tim Fisher in bizzare public confrontation

I agree that our club has been made to look stupid, but in my view it's got nothing to do with balloons.... Putting a "non-trading subsidiary" into administration - this being the same company that was the trading company in the last set of filed accounts Filing accounts late on a regular...
