    Best goal you remember.....

Sadly I wasn't there, but you're right. It was in the days when only a couple of games were televised (for the benefit of our younger posters.....) and on that day Don Rogers scored a televised goal (can't remember who for) where he ran from the half way line to score. TV made a lot of fuss...

    Best goal you remember.....

Have to agree - Wally's goal against Norwich was the best I ever saw. Also agree about Big C in full flight - not to mention any far post header from Colin Stein!

club to hold meetings with fans

So in your "family scenario" where do SISU fit in? As a suggestion - SISU knock on the door of the "desperate parents'" house and tell them that they need to come in so as to give them glad tidings (well, you did say it was Xmas) of their wonderful lottery win. However, once through the door...

    Telegraph article. Talks today.

"Proper" administration might have given us a chance to get things sorted out, but what we have here is a special SISU version of administration where several weeks into the process, it's still not clear exactly what is in administration. Remember the "if Carsberg did....." adverts? Maybe we...

    Edge tweet

The fact that two have made such similar comments suggests that it's about the club, rather than about them as individuals. I'm then going to be optimistic and assume that the "Wow" and the "Some news", mean that it's positive news. Well blind hope is about all we have left...

    latest statement from Mr Appleton

It appears that the only entity allowed to run the academy is the one that holds the golden share. The league believe that Limited holds the golden share. Therefore Limited is the only entity that can run the academy. It's all a horrible mess.

Don't disagree Lord. However, that doesn't produce any validity for an alternative conspiracy theory.

As I tried to explain earlier - where is the contract that the payment is being made in respect of? That's what I would ask in this position. Is there still a long term contract in place or has it become a day to day arrangement depending on whether or not Holdings (who appear not to be...

No, I saw that, but you then departed from that point to try to make some conspiracy case against the Higgs.
