Oh to be Hull - why can't Coventry Council halp CCFC

So would you be happy if the council was to spend millions on buying the bpa so they could give it to the rugby club, then spend millions on buying the SkyDome arena so they can give it to the blaze?

If City get a rent reduction, should the Casino as well?

Surely if some people think its fair that the club can pay less rent because its income is down, then the same should apply to the casino?

    Fisher on CWR

    1. If you can't pay the rent, how are you paying players? They've never actually said they can't pay it, more just that they feel its a bit high, bless them. 2. With the new SCMP rules in place, how is that effecting your transfer policy and how have you afforded to open negotiations with...

I imagine Ricoh are locked into a contract with ACL anyway, so Ricoh are not going anywhere. Unless that is Ricoh does a CCFC/Sisu and decides that contracts aren't really that important.

I think theres a new fangled invention out called a roof. ACL might be able to install one of these roof thingings over the pitch allowing concerts all year round.

Council staff maybe, but Councillors have to live within the city of Coventry. Im sure Sisu are frequent visitors to the city centre.

In what way is council leader John Mutton a Brummie? I cant stand the man and would usually jump on any opportunity to have a go at him, but he is a Willenhall lad, he is not from Brum.

At which point the club would go bust after about a month with no ticket income.

It would be classed as the Coventry conurbation, so they could get away with it on that basis. Think the more important issue would be the fact Ryton is simply a field.

The floor though is the BPA is home to Cov Rugby, the Coventry Bears, and I may be wrong but also the Coventry Jets. What sort of state would the pitch be in with 4 sports teams on it a week?

    All Ricoh/ alternative ground comments.

We won't be leaving the Ricoh anyway. They will pay up on the 21st day, then sprout a load of crap about how it proves Sisu are still backing the club.
