So we save the rent money !!

Fisher said that money should be going on the pitch, he wouldn't lie.

CET: Ricoh talks back on "It's what the fans want us all to do"

The extra £100k he is after is equal to about an extra 300 people at each game. His handling of this situation has probably wiped that off the gate anyway. Remember with ffp £100k earned is better than £100k saved. Money saved can't be spent on players.

CET: Ricoh talks back on "It's what the fans want us all to do"

Well you did it to me. At no point in this thread did I mention nene park. On cwr though fisher clearly said the club would look at alternative grounds if the rent deal wasn't sorted.

CET: Ricoh talks back on "It's what the fans want us all to do"

So are you saying fisher didn't state the club would look for alternative grounds?

CET: Ricoh talks back on "It's what the fans want us all to do"

Also if you think any money saved on rent will bring in players you're seriously deluded. Remember ffp.

CET: Ricoh talks back on "It's what the fans want us all to do"

He was quoted as saying the club will look for a more affordable home. He was the one who tried to blackmail acl by threatening to leave, now its been proven that they can't leave, he looks foolish.

CET: Ricoh talks back on "It's what the fans want us all to do"

From a purely negotiating point of view, why will it be £300k? All Fisher has done is prove that there is no alternative.

CET: Ricoh talks back on "It's what the fans want us all to do"

Fisher is going to look a bit foolish when he has to go grovelling back to acl after all his strong man talk. Lets hope the 67% offer is still on the table.

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

Acl might survive without ccfc Ccfc wont survive without acl. The fact that they are using nene park as a threat proves that.

if the rent is sorted out

Fisher said on cwr money that is paid to acl should be going on the team. Surely he wouldn't lie?

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

If this is the best alternative that fisher can come up with then I dont think acl have much to worry about.

Soon to be renamed the Irthlingborough sky blues.

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

No actually I have the ability to see two sides to an argument. Your the sort of one dimensional football supporter that gets the rest of us a bad name. The sort where their club can do no wrong.

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

6500 capacity, 700 away tickets, after that would they fit all the season ticket holders in? I wonder which brain come up with this idea? If this is given genuine consideration its no wonder the club is in the state it is.

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

Me too. I support Coventry, not Rushden.

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

Is anyone else getting concerned about the cretins we have in charge of our club? They look like there about to take our club to new depths.

CET: The deal turned down by sisu revealed

Well if it makes you happy I hold the previous owners (who asked the council & higgs trust to set up the current situation) in similar regard to sisu.

CET: The deal turned down by sisu revealed

I started supporting Ccfc because they represent my City. I want them to do well because what's good for the football club is good for the city. However i have yet to see how Sisus actions have been for the benefit of my city. I am also extremely angry that through sisu my club have...

Why ACL's rent calculation could be justified.

I can't wait to see all the great players we're going to sign when sisu & acl do this deal.

Why ACL's rent calculation could be justified.

Do you not think that clubs who dont sell their own ground & rent it back should have greater financial rewards? Do you not think businesses that meet their contractual demands should be given more leeway than those who just refuse to pay until they get what they want?
