Why ACL's rent calculation could be justified.

I fail to see the relevance.

Why ACL's rent calculation could be justified.

Yes that is true, my point has got lost somewhere. Other clubs matchday income is based on parking & kiosk sales. 50% of what CCFC fans spend on this will be more than the 100% that the vast majority of other league 1 clubs get. That is why it is wrong to base the deal Fisher wants on what...

Why ACL's rent calculation could be justified.

Most other grounds are complete dives that don't even have major corporate areas. We have the 3rd biggest crowds, and the second biggest stadium. The only grounds that come close to the Ricoh in terms of facilities and income potential (ie concerts, other sports), are Bramall Lane, Stadium MK...

Why ACL's rent calculation could be justified.

Well seen as Fisher is the only source of info for what an average league 1 rent is, I would be very suspicious of those figures. However I'm willing to believe him, but I would like to know why ours shouldn't be an above average league 1 rent? No 2 clubs will pay the same, someone has to pay...

Why ACL's rent calculation could be justified.

But that goes against what fisher says though. He wants a rent 'just like any other league 1 club', but fact is we already have income in excess of most league 1 clubs.

Why ACL's rent calculation could be justified.

Don't know, but lets for arguments sake say 100%, we get crowds of 56% larger than them. So with acl's offer of 50% of income, we would still be better off than them.

Why ACL's rent calculation could be justified.

No, we have a right to ask for a negotiation. Just like I have the right to put in a 20k bid for a Kenilworth road house. If the seller says no there isn't much I can do about it. What's Walsall's rent again? Can't be much less than the 400k acl offered.

I think the one thing we can all agree on is this whole project was set up wrong in the first place.

And 3 of those 4 games was before November! Think we went from November to April without losing a home game. Then losing to Preston (as always!).

At that point then what was on the Thackhall St side?

    Micky Adams

Very good point. I remember in that season we reached a low point late November/early December. The big crowds that had come for the Ricoh opening were starting to dwindle & we found ourselves just above the relegation places. Against Plymouth at the start of December we went 1-0 down. Adams...

It looks like there is a massive tree growing at the back of the Kop! Its interesting seeing how the houses were built to fit in around the original ground. Im right in thinking that Main Stand was there from 1899?

    The Old Five

Off topic slightly here, but why in those days did they play on Xmas day? I can't imagine it would get much of a crowd.

That's a bit like saying Alex Ferguson hasn't won anything with utd, only his players have. Surely Micky should be credited with bringing him in?

How many did bourton score in a season? If we keep mcgoldrick is there any chance of him beating it?

    What should happen Poll

Whereas the 6 that voted ACL should accept whatever SISU say is a reasonable Rent for the football club and risk going out of business themselves are of complete sound judgement?

Fisher should be begging for a reduction. Not acting like the club has some automatic right to it.

Also Leeds who pay around £1.2m, only slightly less than us.
