    Really poor research by BBC

Just had a quick look at the 'new' club's website and they certainly seem to claim ownership of the history of the previous incarnations of the Kings Lynn club. I think this is one of those cases where Grendel is mischievously being contrary and playing semantics. If you follow his argument to...

    Tony Mowbray

I disagree. Our expectations as fans at that time was that we should be top half & challenging for the play offs, regardless of who had or hadn't signed for us. Even our worse doom & gloom merchants were not predicting relegation at the time Mowbray resigned, most still thought we had a good...

    Grendel player opinions

Aren't Marillion his favourite band ? Doubt he would be into the Clash too. Supertramp maybe, but not the Clash!!

    Tony Mowbray

I think if he had stuck it out we wouldn't have gone down. I'm certain results would have been better than we had under Venus and Slade anyway. He also has my respect for resigning rather than waiting for a payoff from being sacked.

    Sheaf

You are correct, but we had just shown a way forward with the move that led to Godden hitting the post. Rose's poor positioning and stupidity in bringing their player down immediately afterwards meant repeating such a move was made more risky and so much more difficult by having only 10 men. The...

Seems like a few don't rate Toney which is a view I really don't get, and if all you think he scores are tap ins you are wildly mistaken. He was far and away the best forward in League 1 last year, and I think there is no one better in the Championship this season. Once he plays in the PL I...

    Shipley

I thought this at the time. The challenge on him was pretty awful, and I was a little surprised how little was made of it at the time. The Swansea player recklessly led with his forearm giving Shipley a right whack. Think there are determined rest times for players coming off for concussion so...

    Matty godden

He showed good awareness to pull the ball back for Shipley's goal. I doubt our other forward options would have seen or taken that option.

At least with Shipley back the moaners might leave Sheaf alone tonight!

There's a severe lack of pace at centre back if Hyam & McFadzean are the combination. Trouble is while Rose and Ostigaard have more pace they are not as physically strong as the other 2. If only we could morph the best bits of each of them into a perfect centre half combination!!

    Sheaf

Like we have done with Sheaf? Can't believe the instant judgements being made on him, as well as Walker, Ostigaard, Hilsner etc. Would have thought that our fans would learn after last season when many wanted rid of Walsh when he first joined us., but no that's clearly expecting too much.

I think MR will look to go with a more defensive base for this game. I can see Giles being dropped in favour of McCallum, and if Dabo isn't fit it wouldn't surprise me to see Ostigaard played at RWB. Elsewhere Kelly will surely play as an extra midfielder with Bakayoko dropping out. The only...

    Hamer

Doyle did the tactical sly fouls, shirt pulls, little clips here and there just like Hamer does now, but wasn't as blatant as Hamer so got away with more. He had that knack of knowing just how far to push it with refs too, who would often let him off for fouls others would get booked for. He was...

    Ifollow

My interpretation of it is that games shown live on Sky (excluding the red button games) are the ones not available on i follow. At this moment I fully expect to be watching the Swansea game on i follow.

    Realistic signings

He was mostly injured at Oxford and his career has flattered to deceive so far. Still young enough to come through, but at this moment he looks more a League 1 player than a Championship one.

    6 championship clubs need bailout

Any payments made by the PL need to be shared on an equitable basis. You can't have a situation where big spending clubs are bailed out, allowing them to keep better players, while those more responsible clubs are then penalised. If there has to be a disparity though, then maybe those clubs in...

    Project Big Picture...

A potential European Super League isn't the same as the Champions League. Much though I despise the Champions League, it is still a meritocracy of sorts, whereby the likes of Leicester can still qualify if they perform well enough. If the big 6 decide to go and play in a closed shop European...
