Revenues - how much are they worth?

Works both, ways if we want to be back at the Ricoh then we need to be making good with ACL. They've got a good pitch and facilities close to our major fan base, we've got Ryton and a rental deal 35 miles away. The court cases and the move to Sixfields have cost us a fortune (we lost £7m in the...

    Seaborne terminates contract

It's a shame if he's going and we don't have anyone to replace him, but with our budget we can't be that choosy. Would be great if we had a youth player who is a suitable replacement and learns from being in with the experienced more mature players.

So you don't have any figures then? I'm not saying that they're making more without us you're reading something that isn't there. As I said in an earlier post I don't know how much they're making as I haven't seen their accounts - have you? You have mentioned on a few occasions other clubs who...

Revenues - how much are they worth?

We don't know how busy they actually are though do we. What appears on their website isn't likely to be everything they are hosting. They don't seem to list weddings or corporate conferences etc. So we have no idea what facilities they are using at the weekends or the hotel numbers which may be...

Revenues - how much are they worth?

I wouldn't be able to answer because I haven't seen the accounts of IEC which would be the ideal place to start. Although I would need to hire someone to help me translate them into English and make an expert opinion. I think you'd need to know what the current revenue is without the club and...

Revenues - how much are they worth?

What's with the three years? Are you coming round to the idea that we're going to need to actually build a new stadium, hence the limited rental period at the Ricoh?

Revenues - how much are they worth?

I don't know, not an expert in that area. I also don't know how many sold theirs on and haven't bought them back, again not an expert.

Revenues - how much are they worth?

It's more, whether the value that the buyer places on something and is prepared to pay for it is worth more to the seller than them hanging on to the goods. Like putting a reserve on an item at an auction, you're prepared to sell it but if the price doesn't reach how much you value the item...

Football League statement - Coventry City

This removes one of the barriers to our return to the Ricoh and I hope that the very second that the JR costs are paid and the legals are dropped or can't be pursued any further both parties are on the phone to each other talking about a deal. If that means Sisu buying the Higgs shares or ACL...

Football League statement - Coventry City

If as some people have said that the Appeal against the decision not to allow an appeal is a bargaining chip then all ACL have to do is wait until the appeal period is up. Then the bargaining chip becomes worthless and Sisu have one less thing to barter in any negotiations.

Football League statement - Coventry City

I was just pointing out the Sisu view of the rent levels and their view on the reasons for them. They would seem to indicate that despite the assertions to the contrary by Bill Glazier that another owner could negotiate a better rent it sounds like they wouldn't have been able to. PWKH is...

Football League statement - Coventry City

Actually according to Sisu other owners couldn't negotiate a better rent because of the loan. This is what the Sisu barrister and the judge said about the the reasons for the high rent. The Sisu barrister blamed the loan as the reason why ACL were "forced to charge" the rent they did. Judicial...

    Football league meeting today?

I do hope it's just the FL making a statement as they're not going to be trying to score points with us fans. Next best case is we get a joint statement between ACL & Our Club/Sisu. The worse case is either or both of the two waring parties making statements separately as they will each just add...

Actually the Sisu barrister and the judge did discuss the reasons for the high rent. The Sisu barrister blamed the loan as the reason why ACL were "forced to charge" the rent they did. Judicial Review transcript day 1 pages 229-231 with my boldening

    Sisu pays council £100k

I have no idea why ACL weren't bothered by the JR when they made their offer via the FL, you'd have to ask them. If I had to guess maybe they're more pissed off with Sisu now than they were then, but that's a guess and I don't know the actual reason. Sorry, I think you misunderstood I wasn't...

    Sisu pays council £100k

Thing is (as far as I know) they haven't said that they're wanting 10bn to talk just the money that the footballing authorities and the judge have said that they're owed. The problem is that Sisu are entitled to (and have every right to) appeal against the decision not to allow them to appeal...

    Sisu pays council £100k

I don't know why the money has to come from our club. The JR wasn't really anything to do with the club, it was Sisu chasing the Ricoh via the council loan. I don't mind Sisu launching legal cases till they're blue in the face, but I don't know why the club has to suffer to satisfy their lust...
