I assume that they aren't talking whilst the legals are still ongoing. If we had heard nothing from them regarding the preconditions for negotiations then yes I might find it a bit odd, but as we have those I don't think it's too far from the norm.

I agree although it would have been nice if they hadn't and had sat down with ACL on Monday morning. Assuming Simon is correct, ACL weren't in a position to quibble on the amount the FL decided on and would have had to accept whatever amount they came up with. I'm not hopeful sadly.

Actually you may have a point there IU can't find anything that says the money was to be paid to ACL directly. Indeed I suspect that the FL have avoided another potential headache by having it paid to them first. That does of course mean that they hadn't paid it to the FL before yesterday and...
