I don't believe we have actually offered him a contract yet. I guess that will depend of Westy's decision. Which incidently, he needs to hurry up and make either way as we could potentially be missing out on decent free transfer replacements.

Personally, I don't think so. He is a decent player and does have a bit of bite to him, but I wouldn't like to go into the season with him as first choice. I just think he is slightly more limited as a footballer, compared to some of the others, and doesn't quite have the quickness of thought...

Definitely. He seemed to be on the touchline with Thorny alot, shouting orders to the lads. I don't remember him doing that a whole lot with Boothroyd or Coleman.

As far as I heard come out of the meeting with Leonard Brody and the board, they are not 100% sure where he will be playing next season. They must be waiting to see whether Liverpool deem him to be over his injury and as to whether they put in a bid. Hopefully, regardless of if he goes or not...

I think we've had that problem for years mate. When was the last time we had a proper attacking play-maker? The problem is, those types of specialist players cost money......and you know the rest. ;)
