    Leonard Brody

I agree with TheSnoz, I think the criticism he gets is very harsh. He doesn't need to put himself out there or answer any of our questions, but he does, because he committed to keeping his word of improving the communication between the club and the fans. Fair play to you Leonard, keep up the...

    Leonard Brody

Done. Just said that there was a thread going on here about how we appreciate the work he is doing for the club. He's never going to satisfy everyone, but who does?! For me, he is a doing a sound job and he comes across as a very approachable guy. Long may it continue.

Completely agree OSB. I think some of the criticism he gets on Twitter is very harsh. He doesn't need to respond to people or tell us about things, but he does and I respect him for that. They are at least making an effort to bridge the gap between themselves and the fans.

    Options to replace....him.

    Michael Mifsud anyone?! ;)

    Options to replace....him.

Exactly Jelly, he could be the answer!! Turner and Jutkiewicz up front next season.

Why didn't we sign King on a longer contract?

He could have been rubbish, that's why. With the wage we were paying him, we couldn't afford to chuck a 2 or 3 year deal at him in case he flopped. We would then have had an ageing striker, who was not performing well, but commanding a large wage. They made the right call by offering a 1 year...

Do you follow any other teams?

Obviously, first and foremost, we are all Coventry City fans, but does anyone also follow any other sides? Maybe because of family connections, work or players/managers there etc etc? My old man is an Arsenal fan, so I always look out for their results and do take an interest in them. I'm...

Agreed mate. Big Ben will knock him into Row Z!!

The King is Dead. Long Live the Duke

I think next season could prove to be a fruitful one for Jutkiewicz, especially if he can be partnered by another quality striker. Minimum of 12 goals for him. Him and Phillips would be good IMO. On McSheffrey, I'd only like to see him up front as a last resort. Not because I don't think he...

    King agrees terms with brum

It won't be part of the same deal obviously, but they just happen to be potentially heading in opposite directions.

    Options to replace....him.

Stick Ben Turner up front, he'll bang in the goals!!

    Options to replace....him.

To be honest, Kevin Phillips is the only one I would take from that list.

    ready made replacement?

Personally, i'd want McSheffrey to stick at the top of the diamond. He can create things and will score goals in that position anyway, he proved that just before getting injured. We need to sign Kevin Phillips and one other striker. Eastwood, Platt and O'Donovan are not players that we should be...

If Marlon goes the club must bring in a player of equal stature....

Just to note. When I said 'agreed', that was to us going for a high quality replacement, not agreeing that we had been misled. I agree with JCR on that. The club didn't intentionality mislead the fans. They had no reason to believe that Marlon would go back on his word.

If Marlon goes the club must bring in a player of equal stature....

Agreed. I still think that Kevin Phillips would be a brilliant signing. If we were to sign him and another striker, I would be very happy. Then let Eastwood, Platt and O'Donovan go to release some funds for wages.

    Blame Game

Yes, the club were a tad premature in revealing that MK had agreed to sign, but I think the flack that Leonard Brody is getting is a bit harsh. The board said that they were going to be as transparent as possible, which they were, but it looks like it has bitten them on the bum this time. As you...

    No shortage of keeping options??

Cammy Bell is highly rated so would be good, but I still maintain that i'd love to see us sign Marcus Hahnemann. I think he would be fantastic!
