Not even commenting on the performance. Don't care. 3 points thank you. We know we're better than that and we have a great chance to show it on Tuesday. I'm enjoying my evening and won't even try to deconstruct today's game. We won.

I didn't see it clearly, thought it was a clash of heads. Was it an arm/elbow?

That's true to a point. The game followed a similar pattern to the MK game, but a soon as there was a bit of jeopardy in the game it livened up and there were a few bodies flying around when we scored.

Yep, had a good view myself, pretty much inline, and he was clearly offside.

It was terrible for 80 minutes. I do think it will be better on Tuesday. Night games are generally better and the importance of the fixture and big away following will hopefully raise the volume a bit. I don't think I can do another season there, it's soul destroying. So much credit to Robins...

Does have a MK Dons feel about it, but we should see this out. My word it's flat in here today. It's like being at a youth game. Even the players look bored. The sooner we leave this place the better.

    Call it now

They're not out of reach of course, but they are in the strongest position and clearly are playing well. It is quite a gap to bridge, even with the games in hand. 'Win all our games in hand' is much easier to say than to do. Win today and Tuesday and it all looks very different though, but that...

I'm not sure why you're not getting it either. We're not talking about the people who don't go at all, we're talking about the thousands that have been at various points this season who are choosing to not go today. Some will have valid reasons of course.

I think he meant the game against Rotherham.

Not sure about that. The MK Dons game was the flattest it has been all season and it didn't help the team one bit. I think this side respond well to bigger crowds, home and away, not least because the crowds inside the ground has been so positive this season. I'm a bit disappointed that ticket...

    Call it now

Rotherham will take some catching now. It's essentially a 9 point gap because of their superior goal difference. Games in hand or not, it'll be tough to catch them, as they're looking strong. Our game against them is huge. Autos has to be the aim, we're certainly good enough. Gut says playoffs...

Some of our fans are garbage

Tbf, I've just been scrolling through twitter and have seen nothing but giddy excitement. I don't see much bitching at all, but there is an expectation that something will go wrong, an ingrained pessimism. That Mowbray season is still pretty fresh in the memory (even if the signs are that we...

Some of our fans are garbage

I had a mate who liked a good moan, used to wind me up no end, but the moment anyone from outside the city had a pop he'd go all Scrappy Doo.

Mistrust of anything new? Coventry has gone through and has been accepting of more change than pretty much any other city I can think of. We're a very adaptable and resilient bunch. We're going round in circles anyway so should just agree to disagree. I see people moan about stuff like students...

For which you have no evidence beyond the anecdotal. How can you possibly gauge how the citizens of Stoke on Trent feel unless you spend loads of time there? I used to work for a company based in Swindon. The locals were scathing about the place. It used to depress me that much that I started...

Cov didn't even make the book iirc. For a medium-sized, post-industrial city, Cov is an alright place if you look at it objectively, certainly on economic measures. If you look at it subjectively, then for me, it's the centre of the known universe.

7 from 3 would be decent. We're going to need 2ppg from now, so it would be great if we could get ahead of the run rate. Playing the bottom 2 is a great chance to get points on the board and put pressure on those around us.

Some of our fans are garbage

Well fortunately not many of our players would have been on the Facebook page at that moment. That place is a cesspit at the best of times. At games though, the support has been the most positive I can remember in all the years following the club. And of course, call out idiots slating players...

Some of our fans are garbage

That's batshit. Comments re missed chances made on an internet forum are effecting our promotion chances. You're trolling right? In all my years watching City I can't remember the support in the ground being as positive as it has been this season. At Bristol on Saturday, at 1-0 down, I didn't...
