No, it is updated by the hour: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ The live data backs up entirely what was said in the section relating to death rates, so there is no significant update to that since it was published.

Not correct. It is 2/100 infected. Out by a magnitude of 10. The early estimate, following very detailed statistical analysis and models is 2%, so 20 x flu. The same happened with SARS, the WHO gave an early estimate of 3%, but it ended up being nearly 10%. This is because people calculate...

It may well be overstated for the reason given, but equally you cannot declare that the mortality rate is '0.4%', citing the cruise ship as the only source of sample data - it is an incredibly small sample on which to make that assertion, especially as only 10 of the 700 cases has the patient...

No, it isn't. It is 20-40x. Since when has flu had a mortality rate of 0.5%? So far this flu season, about 0.05% of people who caught the flu have died from the virus in the U.S., according to CDC data. In the study published Feb. 18 in the China CDC Weekly, researchers found a death rate...

Yes, but it doesn't escape the fact that overall Coronavirus is 20 x more deadly. The life of somebody over 80 is not worth any less than mine. I know that if I get it my chances of dying are very slim, but 2000 deaths for every 100,000 cases would be horrendous, so the actions of governments...

But it's all relative. Flu also has a much higher mortality rate amongst the elderly and those with underlying health issues. The point being, the death rate across all age groups for flu is 0.05%-0.1% and for Coronavirus it is over 2% - i.e it is MUCH more deadly than flu, which is also much...

It is much more than 4 x the mortality rate of flu isn't it? Flu is about 0.05 to 0.1% as opposed to 2%+.

    Sunderland fans crying "again"

What's with this nonsense that you can't look at another club's forum in the lead up to a fixture without being labelled a weirdo? I've had a gander on there a couple of times this week. It's hilarious. Don't post, but some do because it's hard not to defend your club and city in the face of...

    Crowd Sunday

Yeah, ahead of where they were 3 days out from the Rotherham game. Top tier as good as sold out. Don't think there will be the same late rush or as big a walk up though. Hope I'm wrong.

How many would we have got last night and Sunday at the ricoh

Sundays are a nightmare. My lad can't make his mind up whether to play for his team or go to the game, but I'm sure he'll choose the city in the end. It can work the other way though, lots of people work Saturdays. Don't agree with those estimates, but as mentioned above, pointless argument...

    Dodgy ref

You keep suggesting I've said things I haven't said. It isn't getting worse. I started watching football in the 80s and no way is it any worse than when I started. The difference between Sunday football and last night is context, the degree of separation, the level of protection and the...

How many would we have got last night and Sunday at the ricoh

Yes, there was a big fall away, starting around the season before relegation from Championship. As a league 1 club though, crowds have plateaued but do rise and fall depending on how things are going. A significant increase will only follow a promotion, but they would have increased 10-15% this...

I'm not saying anything goes at all. But it has always been this way. I'm sure the individual will have run the line at Millwall at some point. I doubt he could hear many individual comments anyway, just a wall of noise. Just another day at the office. Officials at this level are used to it and...

How many would we have got last night and Sunday at the ricoh

Agree with the last point, but there is no continual erosion in attendances. Crowds went up in 2016, down in 2017, up in 2018 and up again last season. Its fair to say we'd have seen a decent increase this season given how it has panned out.

Well yes, was working on the assumption they'd do so again.

9K at home to Sunderland? And why the play-off game as a benchmark? That is a game at short notice with no ST holders so is from a standing start. The lowest crowd of the season at Sunderland last season was their play-off semi.

How many would we have got last night and Sunday at the ricoh

We had 16.5K against Sunderland for a12.30pm kick off on TV when we were 14th in the table. Can't believe people think we'd get less than that with the season we're having.

So less than the TV game against Sunderland last season. Really?
