    Trust Reaction To Club's Accounts

I agree entirely. I'd always be in favour of keeping options open, not burning bridges etc etc, but was simply noting that the focus seemed - unfairly in my eyes - to be on the Trust to always be making these moves.

    Trust Reaction To Club's Accounts

Interesting that we seem to focus on what the SBT should do to get SISU to deal with them in an engaged manner. It strikes me that a well run club might be focussing on what it should do to persuade the largest supporters' (customers') organisation to deal with it in an engaged manner. Or...

I would have settled for a point before kick off tonight - a step in the right direction.

    pictures of highfield road

i have an old programme from about 1970 in which Mr Robbins sets out the plans to build a new stand at the Swan Lane end with a gym and various other attractions included. All part of our plans at the time to become part of the European elite. Now we're hoping to cling on to third division status.

    Fisher on new stadium

But the full analogy would have been that they were initially interested, but then told you they were not interested at all and took you to court for some related matter while telling all and sundry that they liked to "batter people in court". If you're like me, at that point you'd probably...

Not often fit, but when he was - what a wonderful player.

    Fisher on new stadium

I'm we all recall Mr Fisher's stance in the rent dispute with ACL when he was quite emphatic that the club had to have - presumably at worst - the "average Lge 1 rent" of £170k. So if the "propco- opco" is going to have an income of (max) £170k per annum, given that "the absolutely crucial...

Doesn't that describe most of us on here though? :)

    Sky Blue Accounts

Filing accounts on time is not generally considered to be something to be proud of. More meeting a legal requirement.

Shock Horror: Tim found out again...

I must confess, this line of thought defeats me. It seems to go "if you state that you believe someone has lied on a given subject, you can't ever adversely comment on anything else they say". So presumably, if you believe that Tony Blair lied over the Iraq war, you are thereby banned from...

What good have sisu actually done for the club?

Isn't pointless argument the whole reason for Internet forums?

    Sheff Utd Match Thread

I know we're playing against 10 men, but it does seem that we're going forward with much more conviction. Long may it last!

    Down to League Two ?

There does seem little to be optimistic about at present. Perhaps we should all have a couple of bottles of whatever Clive Eakin drinks :)

Would you take league 2 ...

Ah, those happy days of naive innocence.

    Up for the fight?

I very much doubt that we would, but we then get back to debating cause and effect.

    Up for the fight?

That's true, but then there are few clubs that would be getting 32,000 week in and week out while in the bottom six of the third division.

    Up for the fight?

I told you to keep quiet about the STD. I was only visiting that clinic on behalf of a friend....
