    Fan Base

Wasn't born in Coventry and have never lived there. However my dad was and did, going to his first game back in the mid 30's. Hence, so did I, though I had to wait until the late 60's!

    Exeter JPT

It was weird wasn't it. An awful game, followed by a penalty shoot out that made most German internationals look like amateurs!

    Joy Seppala

That's fair comment, but I was just wondering if she said anything that shed any light on what SISU hope/intend to do beyond the (much appreciated) short term fix that has recently been sorted. That's assuming it wasn't said in confidence, in which case I wouldn't expect you to put it on here.

    Fisher's Remarks...

It would be to everyone's advantage if he could be "persuaded" to take a vow of silence.

    Tips for tickets tomorrow

Odd. I was using Firefox - just checked and still showing.

There are currently seats showing as available on the website in blocks 35/34/33/32/24/23 and 22.

Appear to be some in Block 22 online now.

    Yeovil Gate

We always get the "occasional fans" turning out when word starts to spread that tickets might be hard to get hold of. So, if we could get a few rumours started..... :)

Ricoh car parking season tickets - ???

I was told that the fallback plan was that they'd have a list of names of people who'd paid on the gate.

Tim Fisher helping out at the store...question

Seems a measured and proportionate approach :)

    Update on ticket situation

In a perverse way that is really quite funny.

Question to those who have purchased tickets online

I've had trouble getting on using IE, but Firefox has been OK.

    Tim, is that you? :)

    Update on ticket situation

I guess that we are all assuming that the blocks towards the goal (10, 9, 8 etc) are not going to be opened. It would be helpful if this could be clarified. If it is the case, someone (Simon Gilbert?) needs to get some explanation from the decision maker (the police?) as to why this is so...

Mark Labovitch's time at CCFC in quotes

Like many on here, I met ML and following that meeting I had a number of telephone conversations and email exchanges with him. I have to say that on a one to one basis, I found him OK. He always claimed to be pushing for a return to the Ricoh on the sort of basis that we've just seen. If he...

    Tim and Humble Pie

Probably true, though sadly his views on the importance of F&B income are scandalously under-reported :)

    Tim and Humble Pie

As J.M. Keynes said - "In the long run, we are all dead".

    We were told

That's true, but possibly - if things are settling down and going well - a first step could be to extend the current deal.

    We were told

Philosophically, I'd be OK with a new stadium - financially, I remain to be convinced that it's viable. For me, the next step is a (probably) slow rebuilding of trust between the parties. Perhaps it was no coincidence that a feature of the successful talks was the absence of juvenile public...
