    Save Our City

You have to be careful. Throwing anything inside or outside a football ground invites police action. Fans are banned for a minimum 3 years by law nowadays for offences at football. Why pick Reading instead of Forest. Well think about it Forest is a midland derby and they are in a similar...

    Back to yesterdays game

Getting away from the demo which has obviously hogged the websites what about the game yesterday. Didn't go, so i can't say a lot about it but i did notice listening to the phone in after the match one or two different callers critical of the manager, the tactics and substitutions, nothing...

Time to confront Hoffman and Elliott

Thanks for that post and lets hope you are correct. Football fans of which i'm one do become impatient and concerned about their club and panic that's natural. But it can be a concern when a trusted city fan like "our" Joe has another ticking clock, i'm sure he's genuine and maybe was taken in...

Death Of Darlington FC...A Concern ?

Moving grounds needlessly don't get me on that one! All i will say i suspect some people became a lot wealthier thanks to that decision.

Time to confront Hoffman and Elliott

Perhaps "confront" is harsh but at this moment in time it appears Gary Hoffman and whoever his backers are, are the only show in town and Mr Elliott has been on atleast 4 previous boards either as an associate director or director and is rightfully known locally as Mr Coventry and was ecstatic...

Death Of Darlington FC...A Concern ?

Who would have thought Woolworths would have gone ? a failing business, like us, a marketing name, unlike us. Anyone can go to the wall especially in grim times we are now in finance wise. Darlington a one town club, like us, a decent fan base for a club their size, like us and many trying to...

Death Of Darlington FC...A Concern ?

Listening to Talk Sport last night a Darlington fan came on, it appears more than likely Darlington FC played their final game yesterday at Barrow. He went on and spoke about various things, reasons why etc, etc, and it was quiet emotional listening and you couldn't help comparing their problems...

I think it's time Hoff put his cards on the table

If you could translate that into the Queens english I'll have a go at answering it.

Time to confront Hoffman and Elliott

Maybe but the ones with an answer to that are those linked to any buy out i would think.

Time to confront Hoffman and Elliott

Most are agreed sisu have to go and today was a decent start to the sisu out campaign, however there are others in this loop and that is Gary Hoffman, Joe Elliott and maybe one or two more. These 2 need confronting now on their intentions for OUR clubs future, no good sitting back while the...

I think it's time Hoff put his cards on the table

Fully agree with the title of this thread. Hoffman needs to come clean on his intentions if there are any and if there isn't tell us and tell us why. No good peering through the glass with his mate Joe Elliott looking at the demonstraters, come out in the open and say what his intentions are and...

    A big thank you

We are little people and don't have a lot of control on things like this BUT if this "save our city" organisation grows we can certainly become a boil on their arses.

    Future protest ideas.

Ask other fans for support ! You might laugh but the Southampton fans today offered to take that sisu out banner in their end. Fans will unite and if we could ask supporters who have a live TV game for example just to put a decent sized sisu out banner in a strategic spot that would IMO...

    Future protest ideas.

Start a letter campaign to SISU headquarters in London just asking them to leave, just 5 per week from fans all over the world and get friends and family to do likewise and bog their business down, use different sized envelopes and just put TV mags in or paper, all have to be opened just to see...

    Could Be Worse

Very true and i think the capacity was 23050, 4050 away fans 19000 home. We paid over £130 million to increase our maximum gate by 9000 which if we filled the Arena evert match would take years to get that money back and that decision alone more or less fecked us up for good.

City arkwardness tomorrow and demonstrators be on your guard.

Well said and you omitted including Government connections, why else did MP Damien Collins stand up in the House and mention little Coventry City's plight. As a result the whole board have jumped ship.

Save Our City sum it up nicely...

Hit the nail firmly on the head ccfcdan, it's not about who comes in, it's not about being bottom of the league, it's about our very existence. I think we, the fans have woken up a bit late and have ground to make up but atleast most of us are now awake. Today is the opening shot and more will...

City arkwardness tomorrow and demonstrators be on your guard.

Of course there are dodgepots, sisu IMO being one. We can only hope these people being introduced by City nutcases such as Hoffman and Keys hae been rigourlously vetted. As Hoffman is about as high as you can get in the finance world and has considerable contacts within our Government i'll have...

Save Our City sum it up nicely...

It's a good article and true, yet some, claiming to be Cov fans, will post negatives to that letter but rarely offer an alternative. I'll just sit back now and await these posts.
