Gary Hoffman’s long-distance attempt to meet Coventry City’s chief Tim Fisher

Immigration cases make up the vast majority of judicial reviews. Less than 15% of judicial reviews make it beyond the first stage. Less than 2% of judicial reviews are ultimately successful. I wouldn't put a lot of money on SISU's request being successful.

    Cobblers fan with questions

They were actually offered a reduction to £400k per year. And no they weren't evicted, they chose to do a runner.

    Independent View

At last a national newspaper reports on the plight of CCFC without spin from Fisher http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/nuneaton-town-1-coventry-city-4-match-report-angry-fans-protest-at-sky-blue-move-with-black-balloons-8707675.html

Can we not raise the rent between us...

What will happen after 3 years? Let's face it, there is not going to be a new ground and why would SISU want to spend at least £2m a year on a mortgage for a new ground if a bunch of fans were daft enough to provide one for free? The additional revenue from pie money?

Can we not raise the rent between us...

What a splendid idea! SISU are obviously on their uppers and this would be a most generous gesture. A few suggestions for what you could call the campaign "Save A Needy Hedge Fund" or "Support A Carpetbagger" or even "Gangsters In Need". Let me know have your bank details and I will pass them...

    NTFC fan view

So what should the council and the charity have said "OK we'll pay for your stadium to be finished even if we have to borrow the money to do so. Pay us what you can afford, the players wages are more important than the welfare of the ratepayers or the people the charity assist".

Nice graphic that says a lot

    Superb - thanks.

    Transfer embargo

I think we are already in serious trouble. Whether or not we sign a few free agents, that nobody else wants, will make very little difference to our situation.

Ricoh Arena to sue Northampton Town FC

I think the approach of ACL's lawyer is that a deal has been agreed between NTFC and Otium for the club, who are ACL's tenant, to break the lease and play at Sixfields. Since neither NTFC nor Otium have any rights, at the moment, to decide where the club play, then this could be construed as...

Ricoh Arena to sue Northampton Town FC

I do agree NTFC should not be bullied. However, there is an old saying about having a long spoon if you are going to sup with the devil and your chairman should have been aware of the (unsavoury) company he was about to keep. And there is a perfectly good ground in Coventry for the Sky Blues to...

    Question for PWKH

As you are in fantasy land why stop there - how about everyone buying a lobster salad and a bottle of Dom Perignon and spending £200 a head?

Ricoh Arena to sue Northampton Town FC

That of course, is possible. Or an oblique way of targeting the League as they, presumably, will be called upon to assist in defending one of their members.

Ricoh Arena to sue Northampton Town FC

I too am surprised that Northampton are the target of ACL legal action, if the reports are true. I would have thought that the Football League would be the more obvious target. A case for a request for judicial review of it's decision to allow the move to Northampton on the basis that it will...

    Fisher's Beauty Parade

I wonder why Fisher fails to mention that Rotherham don't own the new ground and that they are leasing it from the owner? Oh, and the stadium is beside the river Don, not the Rother - when he couldn't get that right, I see little hope for the rest of his nonsense.

    Implications of ACL rejecting CVA

As opposed to the golden future we can look forward to if they accept it and go along with SISU's plans for the club?

    Sisu masterplan

Some of the grammar by the OP seems, to me, suspiciously like that used by subcontinent call centres. Have SISU contracted out their forum subversion?

Wake up supporters - you are being conned!

You really do not have a clue what you are talking about - again.

    Done Deal

Well, as far as I can see the FL haven't announced anything yet. Could be that they are all going into hiding before the press release of course.

    Done Deal

What do you mean by "done deal"? Are you saying it is signed off by the FL and the clubs have signed contracts?
