    2013/2014 Kit Information

Kicking off "at home" 35 miles away in front of a handful of fans - things wouldn't be any more embarrassing if they played stark, bollock naked.

    Posh lead the way

And how much do Peterborough make from the facilities in a stadium described as an ‘old fashioned, run-down dump’ by the Peterborough chairman - even if they have it in their power to let them?

Hope you've not got the next Ken Bates.

Thanks for the support. Are you sure Ken Bates was that bad? Even on his worst days, he didn't suggest text-a-sub, sit on the bench during a game, move the club to a ground 35 miles away or suggest building a statue of himself.

    Can't Seppela be arsed ?

Exactly. I'm sure my first post on here was about SISU's lack of substance and I have mentioned it several times since. SISU got lucky in 2006 when they part financed a management buyout of a company that was subsequently sold to Hunstman. With the proceeds, Seppala bought herself a new house...

    A Deal Is Simple Really

Yes - it is a bit like dealing with kidnappers from the far side of Hell: They have kidnapped our loved one and are holding it to ransom. We know that if their demands are not met, they will kill our loved one - but they haven't come out and said it yet. We know what their demands are - but...

    A Deal Is Simple Really

So what would be a fair price for SISU to pay for the Ricoh, say £30m? About what it would cost to build their new stadium. If SISU had that sort of money and were looking for commercial property to invest it in, they could expect a return of about 6%, i.e. about £1.8m per year. They would...

    Can't Seppela be arsed ?

That was from 8 years ago - the hedge fund is now likely to be worth a fraction of what it was worth then. Hedge funds specialising in debt and distressed companies are long out of favour with investors. They might get lucky once, but their performance over time is generally abysmal - and that...

    Can't Seppela be arsed ?

It is indeed and if those funds were "multi billion" SISU would have an income considerably in excess of the £2m their accounts show. So, big company? Their income in the last few years has been less than CCFC have received for season tickets.

    Can't Seppela be arsed ?

What on earth makes you believe SISU are a "multi billion investment fund"? They are a rather small, back street, bunch of unscrupulous opportunists and, according to their accounts, are more acquainted with downs than ups over the last few years.

Is the CVA delay positive or negative ?

I agree with you about the atmosphere, but who's fault is it that the Ricoh is only one third full? And the way to recreate that atmosphere isn't to keep moving to a smaller ground until you can fill it.

Is the CVA delay positive or negative ?

Furthermore, the new Peterborough rents were agreed after a review by commercial property consultants Lambert Smith Hampton. They concluded that rental of a ground, with a 15,000 capacity and described as an ‘old fashioned, run-down dump’ by the Peterborough chairman, was worth £300k a year. On...

Is the CVA delay positive or negative ?

Peterborough rent will rise to £380k after first improvement stage and £430k after the second and their chairman seems to be very pleased with the deal. I guess if he could get a stadium like the Ricoh for £400k, he would be ecstatic.

    season tickets now on sale

Even if they have sold 300 tickets @ £200 each, that barely covers the cost of renting Sixfields for 6 months (or 6 days administration costs). Fisher is going to be dipping into Seppala's handbag quite a bit in the coming months.

Sixfields, change of venue, travel costs

I'm sure Fisher has already covered transport arrangements. Didn't he say to Coventry fans "On yer bike" - or words to that effect.

    Joy Victoria Sepella

SISU Capital Ltd is the manager for the various funds, many of which seem to have been created solely for the CCFC investment. SISU doesn't own these assets, it manages them and it's income is derived from management fees and a percentage of the increase in the value of the funds. Given the...

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

Knowing what happened before 2007 would be nice, but having that information would do nothing to stop the current destruction of the club. So let's focus on what should be practicable and reject the CVA, particularly as SISU seem desperate for it to be signed.

    Protest Thread 20/7/13

"Fisher expects to terrorise and cow the people of this mighty city… Little does he know the spirit of the British nation, or the tough fibre of the Coventrians" Winston Churchill, 1940 (Slightly brought up to date).

    appleton fires back

I prefer the way Abraham Lincoln put it: "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time" SISU are still fooling some people.

    Money Laundering in our games

And I would be astounded if it is not. Not necessarily as dramatic as funds from drug running or arms sales. Recycling money obtained from tax evasion, defrauding investors, diverting government grants, etc. all count as money laundering. Are our football authorities really sure that all of...
