Eccles being asked to play a role he isn’t technically able to. Not sure who fills that creative role. Paterson not match fit, possibly Allen? Albeit even with three “defensive” midfielders we can’t control the game.

Sheaf, Grimes, Eccles - who’s playing as the most offensive? It should be solid, disciplined and two of the three are especially great on the ball, but definitely not a Rudoni like for like. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Allen or Paterson at 60/65 minutes.
