I think he scored in his first competitive match in months. Missed two sitters but got into position and led the line reasonably well. He was better in the 9 role than both BTA and Wright were on Saturday. He is still some way off where we need him to be, but the points above still stand.

Despite scoring I actually think Simms looks less confident after those two sitters. Shame as he’s done some decent CF stuff.

I think that team is pretty decent to be honest. I want the Wright LW and Simms CF combo to work so much though. It’s far, far better for all involved. Albeit Brau is 1000% being exposed as an attacking full back with Wright in front of him.
