Fair enough, just feel like Wright would be better linking play and playing tidier in tight spaces. More likely to be able to take a man on aswell.

I’d argue that Wright is better with it played to feet and has the ability to pin and turn a man. He has more finesse than Simms. I’m not knocking Simms he’s a brilliant goal scorer, but needs it on a plate.

I think on his own, but it would be useful if the midfield could give him the ball in good areas, it’s no good hoofing it into channels and hoping he does something.

I think the point is (and proven by this post), Is that clearly everyone thinks we were poor today… I don’t think I’ve seen anyone say we were “class” or brilliant. But for some weird reason you seem to be obsessed by having a different opinion to everyone..it’s like you’re making up your own...

We need a dynamic 8 desperately. Get Sheaf back, and find someone to play with him and Rudoni. Eccles and Torp are not good enough if we have any aspirations of even top 6. Top 2 is laughable.

It’s not panic stations at the moment. However if we have this midfield come the end of this window, then we can kiss any top 6 aspirations goodbye.

How people can come on here and tell me that Eccles is a top top Championship midfielder is beyond me. Both him and Torp hiding every time we have the ball at the back so they’re forced to go long. There’s no point having such a good front 3 because we simply can’t get the ball to them.
