This is very, very positive news. I've been concerned about the impact of coronavirus etc on the future of the club but clearly there cannot be any fears from the owners if we're commiting to spending money like this
The most obvious one to base something on (home shirt i mean) would be where they had the white top third with blue below it. It must be boring for any designers assigned that account, similar with Newcastle probably, you know what it has to be before you even start!
There's not much variation to Everton kits in general i suppose, i don't remember the last one that wasn't a solid blue with a few tweaks to the trim maybe
He's very effective in the RWB role so i'd much prefer to see him kept there. I'm sure he could 'do a job' in central midfield but why bother if we can just get an actual centre-mid to play there would be my view. Plus we'd have to replace Dabo at rwb which wouldn't be very easy.
Andre Dozzell at Pisswich might fit the bill too (skillful, young) although i think he may be a bit pricey for us. I didn't see the Bolton game but Politic does seem to be rated and could be a good shout.
Matty Taylor from Bristol City could be decent. I dont think he has scored too many at Championship level but i also can't seeing us being able to afford a striker with a proven record in the division either
I think winning the JPT Final went a long way to instilling a sense that we could actually win the big games too. Even so i always think back to the Mansfield game as being the big turning point for that season, we still had wobbles (wtf was that Yeovil game all about!?) But this game really...
Cheers! What's the potential points deduction for you guys all about? FFP?
Really looking forward to a season in the Championship, im hopeful that momentum will see us have a good return but we will have to buy well over whatever transfer window we get.
A friend who has Strava reckons this was set on a bike as there are big differences between 'moving time' and 'elapsed time' and a few sections where he's running at sub 3 minute miles. The only way to settle it is to get Travs to challenge him to a race tbh.
I prefer mornings but only get to do those at the weekend which tends to be my long run of the week. I try to avoid running when it's hot and sunny but sometimes i cant avoid it, i had to hose myself off in the back garden yesterday!
It was either a draw with Everton in the league or with Norwich in the FA Cup in the early/mid 90s. I can't really remember anything of either game but im sure one of those was my first game. I can also remember someone calling Ray Parlour a poof whilst sat in the family stand, nothing else...
