Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

My thoughts exactly. The newspapers have been continually full of incorrect information throughout this saga, and in a lot of cases, just guesswork. edit, just read post 6428

But that's only because you've got very short legs

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

This is taken from https://www.rollits.com/news/articles/the-10-day-notice-of-appointment-moratorium-when-does-the-bell-toll/ The High Court has previously held that a period of administration ends on its final day at the same time at which a Company originally entered administration. As the...

    Penalties

The trouble with hitting them down the middle, you need to vary it a bit, otherwise the keeper will just stand there.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Assuming admin happens, and there are multiple interested parties, I assume it will be an auction with sealed bids. Will be a couple of weeks before we know anything

    Penalties

I doubt if vik has practised penalties much as he is well down the order, especially after the one he missed against Barnsley last season. He will be OK with a bit of practice.

That's what I thought, contradictory, but from what I can see, they seem like a fairly serious outfit.

Not sure if this has already been posted, but according to a 2 week old report attributed to Sky, NEC has already made a bid. Clearly not enough. https://www.thebusinessdesk.com/westmidlands/news/2068179-nec-lodges-bid-to-buy-cbs-arena

On the plus side, we have plenty of experience of playing our 'home' games at multiple locations. Any other team would be stuffed in these circumstances.

It's just unfortunate timing that we have 2 consecutive home games after tonight's game. We did organise a cup game at Burton at very short notice early on in the season. Something like that would be better than nothing if needed, provided it could be arranged

If there is a way to sort it, it's probably already sorted. If not, it could mean us playing at Northampton, Birmingham, Burton, or somewhere else for the foreseeable future.

Ok, I've obviously lost the plot

This is ACL's first notification period isn't it? I assume that means they can extend for 10 days if they can demonstrate that there is some interest.

The more I think about it the more I think Sisu will make a bid, even if it's a cheeky low bid. If they have any ambition of getting their money back they need the stadium, and it could go for peanuts, relatively speaking.

Or even better, someone such as Mike Ashley buys CCFC and the stadium

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I said in a previous post that I didn't think there would be massively high bids. It may well surprise us how little it goes for.

I seem to remember there were scrap yards / vehicle breakers in Rowley's Green Lane years ago

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

That's a shame if true, but if I were interested in buying something that multiple other parties might be interested in, I would play down my interest.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Well, we shall see, but my opinion is, although there will be interest I don't expect to see massively high bids, considering the expensive repair / renovation work said to be required, and who is likely to be interested. I just can't see NEC being interested unless they can get it very cheap.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Covered in post 4628 onwards on previous page. I don't read too much into that statement. I think he means ACL will go into administration next week and there is sure to be interest / bids, or something like that. I doubt very much the reporter knows anything not already in the public domain. If...
